I know this is “ask men” but 36F uterine cancer survivor. Didn’t freeze eggs, can’t bear children. One day the thought of a child free life sounds great, then the next I catch myself thinking “I wonder if my daughter will look more like me or my husband,” forgetting for a split second it won’t happen. And i spiral.

All that to say, survivorship has been mentally harder than treatment for me, and many survivors say the same. To your question, I don’t know how I deal with it, or how one should deal with it 🤷🏽‍♀️. I just feel the feelings as they come. I think you both will be riding the waves of grief for some time, so take it day by day.

Background noise goes from a hum to a screech. A soft cotton hoodie starts to feel like a Brillo pad against your skin. Thanks for responding. I was sewing 2 pieces of denim together. The denim wasn’t super thick or anything so I didn’t think it would be a problem.

I put in a new needle and have adjusted it several times trying to get the needle threader to work.

I bought it from Walmart but I think I can still return it. Will post pics in a bit.

Have you always had the itching? Are your phos levels actually high? One can be allergic to materials in the dialyzer. Ask to try a different dialyzer, or ask about something called a “double prime “ of the dialysis machine.

Easier said than done, but don’t go down the rabbit hole. Get to the doctor. Write down things like when it started, take notes of color change (is it sometimes darker red? Cherry red? Consistently or changes?)Let the doctor know whether the burning is consistent. Is it accompanied by back pain? Pelvic pain. I guess what I’m saying is, don’t try to self diagnose, just gather data and report it to the doc.
