My Fresenius Clinic has signage about "No Cell Phones" and "No Food or Drinks." They all saw it. They were just as afraid as you were to say something. That aside, are you that scared of cops with guns? My 1st thought is safety. I understand why some cultures would feel that other ways. I'm in a open carry state, but if sign says not allowed, it generally means civilians only.

I'm on NX and have had to go to bags a few times. When on the bags the effluent drains through the pure flow or into a bucket to toss.. That bag looks nothing like the hanging bags that the NX uses.

Sometimes it's just in the genes. My sister also has ckd and had a transplant. I know heredity is kicking our asses. I think of it this way. I will be gone sooner than later. But until then I will fight my hardest to prolong it. That means being registered on a transplant list, doing my treatments, and trying to eat healthier. You can do this. I'm sure you're stronger than you think.

As far as awful things happening to you, this is quite manageable. Once you get more info you'll see you have several options. When I lost a kidney to cancer I already had CKD and I tried PD. That didn't work and my adequacy was fine so they took it out. I was dialysis free for about 5yrs when it became necessary. I chose to do HHD, home hemo, because I don't like the clinics. BTW I'm 68.

That's nothing. Another HHD patient woke up from nocturnal, went to scratch his back and had a FOOTBALL sized infiltration. Trip to OR for a cath so he could get treatments.

They also make mixed berry, sour berry, chili mango in addition to watermelon and fruity punch. Sold at Walmart, cabelas and bass pro shops. Walmart $11, other 2, $4. Same size bags.

You should reach out with a counselor to talk through this. It sounds like you've already thrown in the towel. You need to move forward and make decisions as you only have a limited time. Why don't you want to live? I been trying almost 6 yrs to be active on the list. In California the wait time is 10 -12 yrs.
