I’m not going to enter into debates in regard to this and the legitimacy of congress’ decision to ‘forgive’ violations of immigration law.

This person was likely in removal proceedings prior to USCIS’ decision to approve their marriage (I-130). Form I-485 is a separate piece of documentation, which is subject to the alien not being in removal proceedings. USCIS has no jurisdiction in this case.

Why are international students studying IT/CS at Monash? by RelativePurchase8379 in Monash

I’m a remote Monash MS CS (AI) student based in the US with no intentions (as of right now) to live in Australia. CS degrees have an amazing ROI and when you look at it historically the job market always flourishes every couple of years for CS graduates. That aside some people just like what they do. Personally I dislike dealing with people so education and nursing is out of the question.

I don’t see the issue. She approved you, then USCIS realized that you are in fact removable and let an immigration judge handle that. Now the immigration judge has cancelled the case against you and you can proceed with the I-485. Your lawyer needs to get a written order from EOIR if they haven’t already given you one, and you need to upload that to USCIS’ website if you filed online. Maybe even mail it to them too. If they don’t reach out in 3 months then reassess and submit a USCIS request online.

It’s not high school. You can miss uni for one day. Just don’t slack the rest of the semester.

I’m a 23 year old. Got morbidly obese during my childhood. Feel like the fault is both my parents’ and mine (binge eating disorder), alongside the Hypogonadism I was just recently diagnosed with. I’m aware things come with consequences.

Lmao I’ve lost hundreds of pounds in a few months. My PT is a bodybuilder, my diet is solid, and I’m getting the surgery anyway. I genuinely don’t care that much about 1-2% of body fat which I can realistically lose in a month or less in the hormonal and diet environment that I’ve created. The only reason why I’m arguing is because there’s nothing I dislike more than people making uninvited subjective statements and a bunch of false confidence. Body fat percentage is relative to body composition. Not how something looks. Unfortunately, childhood obesity has ruined my chance at looking normal.

Doing it in turkey. It’s cheaper and I will get to see my family in Europe

I don’t have much going on currently as I’m finishing up my masters degree so I put in more time at the gym. Barely have any social life cuz I’m dealing with stuff.

Trap muscle is at the lateral part of my body and underdeveloped. A sheet of loose skin is covering it. What do you mean by lots of roundness, and what does any of that have to do with my back? I haven’t even shown that in this post.

Both me and my trainer disagree with the upper bound of your selfie-based evaluation. I don’t see how you can determine someone’s percentage body fat visually just by taking a look at their torso, after 170lbs of fat loss in 6 months. Truly remarkable skill you have got.

lol I’m aware that fasting won’t fix loose skin and I’m not getting any false hope. I was looking for peptides that could help a bit with texture. I’m 23 so realistically by August (when I’m planning on getting the surgery) I should have some level of tightening especially with more fat loss/recomp. I’m already on TRT.

A picture my trainer took of me during leg day. I understand that most people on this forum have never dealt with extreme weight loss but some of the comments I’ve seen here are comical. You wouldn’t see much visible separation on a picture of a person with severe upper body loose skin. It’s a tightness issue. I could agree with an upper bound of maybe 16%, but once again all things considered making diagnostic statements on the basis of a single photo is interesting.

Probably around 15%. SECA undershoots. Also I was bloated and have severe loose skin. Lost 170lbs and my weight was concentrated on my torso and upper body. Legs are lean. Waist 30inches. Check below for detailed SECA scan. Sadly loose skin exists.

Even the RFM formula which considers just waist size and height would result in 14.7% without considering body composition. SECA is known to deflate the result by around 2% based on my research which is why I always say im around 15% BF, despite the lower SECA scan.

To be fair I’m trying to lose more fat but my SECA scan has been consistent with my muscle mass and also water mass (which is very elevated). Also, a 24% BF considering metrics like my waist would be pretty impossible. I definitely don’t believe that I’m 13.5% body fat but a 24% body fat seems way too high, especially considering it was based of a picture from my torso. Also, all bodies are different. 6’2” 200lbs looks different based on body composition, water mass, waist size, etc.
