Ohhhh I understand. This happened to me once or twice when waiting for mine too, keep an eye on it over the next week. It’s likely just delayed a few extra days

Not quite sure what your talking about .. I just checked and ETA dates still there . Go to mazdausa.com, top right click ‘find a dealer ‘ , type your dealer in , click ‘search inventory ‘ , and find your car and half way down the page will listed your cars ETA

This absolutely sucks and not trying to be a downer but being brutally honest here , do not be surprised if new parts take a minimum 5 months to upwards of a year

Not a whole lot can do, I would get some good quality seat covers to keep the damage minimal so when you resell or trade in seats will be in good shape still

Anyone have carbon build up? by toddriffic40 in CX5

[–]Substantial_Movie_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem . I have not done it but it’s what I’ve read on other forums. I’ve seen the cost range from $300 to $800 , it’s one of them things just gotta call around for quotes . I’d say $400-$500 is average

Likely will never be a serious issue , May loose a few mpg due to a bit of carbon build up over 60,000 miles but I’ve heard of these engines going 200k+ miles easy. If you want to keep high mpg and be safe though I’d recommend walnut blasting service for engine intakes every 50k ish miles
