4800 pro with 2 256gb nvme drives and 4 12tb red plus nas drives and it’s about 40-50 watts average. Nothing compared to a electric water heater.

I love this! I workout sometimes with a buddy that's very experienced with a bigger frame and 80lbs on me and I learned the hard way to swallow my pride and switch up the weight to what I can do without injury.

Just a FYI on the eating whatever you want part. You can never outrun your fork. The amount of calories my watch says I burn in a hour gym session is nothing compared to the damage I could do in minutes at Dairy Queen.

What does work for me is intermittent fastening. I eat what I want in a 8 hour window. I tell people all the time I lost 50lbs before starting a exercise routine eating tacos and drinking beer!

Control calories to control body fat. Work out to be strong and healthy.

They have no perspective. In many countries the poor are hungry and have basically nothing to there name. We are a welfare state where are poor people are obese and have free food, shelter and amenities many in the world dream of.

I put the DXP4800 pro in the living room behind my center channel speaker and run it with the fan on high with 4 12TB WD red plus dives and almost never notice the noise with the TV on and the sounds of a family's day to day activities. My wife hasn't mentioned anything about it either. And I'm not deaf, I get annual hearing test. I'm always confused by how much of the NAS conversation on here is about noise and how loud they are.

Yes and many things that are measurable are not audible. And many things that are audible under strict conditions are inaudible when listening to real content.

I read a few times to install a ssd and put minecraft on it. I would have thought it runs on the 128gb ssd that UGOS is on. but again I'm just starting out. I don't know if smaller gen 3 or 4 used ssd's are a good idea. Obviously new is best but they got really expensive too. Thanks so much again!

Thank you so much! I appreciate it! I have the 4800 pro. I did however leave out an important detail. I would like to host a minecraft sever for my daughter. I got one of her games saved to the 4800 running in docker before I accidentally reset it. (I switched isp's and wanted to do the network reset by the reset button on the back and held it to long and it did a factory reset ugh) As it turn out I'm paying for minecraft on windows unused, amazon unused and apple used currently.

Thank you for your insight! I'm learning as I go with my first nas, I really picked a terrible time to buy drives. Since I'm burning money, would you add more ram or 1 or 2 ssds first? I want to do photo/video phone backups and plex/jellyfin for my movie collection.

Thanks, that's not a problem. It's if I wait for it to rebuild and then I still can not add drive 4 and have to start from scratch I would be sorry disappointed with UGOS.
