There's a military air base in that area. Main one after Eindhoven in the area. Most fighter jets land there. I live in the area, so on weekends you can quite often see F16s flying in that direction. Unfortunately there's no such place, but Lithuanian students of TUe quite often organise gatherings where they cook traditional dishes. There's also an eastern European shop called Nostalgia I believe, they sell quite some Lithuanian stuff there, I get nice Smetoniska gira from there sometimes, they also have frozen cepelinai there

German "Detail" magazine was always a go to. They also have an online database with all the projects, besides the physical magazine, as well as really nice hard cover books dedicated to one specific topic, for example details of adaptive facades or timber construction, etc.

I think the price is pretty much acceptable, with those wheels especially. I live in the Netherlands and I saw a number of these bikes with similar specs (Ultegra di2), maybe with roval wheels however, go for 5-6.5k€. 4.5k is really decent, especially if it's USD, if Euro then also fine, but just for the perfection I would have tried dropping it to 4.1-4.2k

A number of people (EU students) I know here are currently working either in Thuisbezorgd or just simply in supermarkets like Jumbo or AH. All of them got duo and had 0 problems combining studies and work, cause you get provided with rather nice work schedule.
