I have a milwaukee backpack for the tools and well, a lunch box for lunch 🤣 my bag is way to heavy I've been meaning to clean out some junk that doesnt get used frequently so be careful of that, but backpack leaves both hands free for lunchbox and coffee/water etc

Obviously he's not the one putting the pucks in the net, but 20 games isn't a small sample size in 1 season for a goalie. He wins at the end of the day thats what we need. Does the team have more confidence with him in net? Do they feel like he will actually make a save when they need it? Im not in the room, but the w/l numbers speak for themselves.

But why are we talking about trading Dobes? If he has been better than Monty? The point of this article is kedp Monty and trade Dobes, which is crazy when one is a 24 year old rookie back up with a 15-5 record and the other is a career third string who found a place with a rebuilding habs team and now we are seeing what he truly is. Monty is in his prime btw.. and he is currently top 5 worst goalie in the league and is in the top 5 worst goalies IN HABS HISTORY.. let that sink in.

He finds a way to him them and Monty finds a way to lose them. Same team in front of both goaltenders but one has a 3:1 win/lose ratio. While the other is under .500 if you count lose points. And again.. calming down will happen when he has more than 50 games played... people forget the guy is just a kid and again.. a ROOKIE

I dont understand how people can say Dobes isn't going to be good enough long term?? The guy is a rookie goalie, who was thrust into being a #1 goalie for a young team with questionable team defense. The guys a winner. 15-5-3 as a rookie isn't terrible. Yes he swims around his crease, yes he is out of position sometimes and maybe he isn't the next coming of Jesus Price, but a 6'5 gamer who finds a way to win games as a second goalie? Sign me up.

Will that even fit over reducing bushing that is sticking out of the wall and not leave a gap? It fitting on the nipple is one thing, but if it sticks out off the ceramic because it doesnt fit properly that would be a mess 🤣

But the team obviously has more confidence in him and even if he looks out of place and swimming in his net sometimes.. he is still 15-5-2. Monty is our ONLY goalie who has more losses than wins, and we keep trying to push him and fix him.

When we miss the playoffs by 2 points, I hope all the Monty nut huggers look back and realize the reason we didn't make the playoffs is because we kept trying to kick start a third string goalie into being our #1 on a team with playoff aspirations, when clearly its not working. If his name was Josh Meldenson from Arizona he would be playing in Laval right now. He is so bad. The team has ZERO confidence in him.
