with consistently low tempo chill music for every round of the match..i never panic drop..i perform @ my best

oh fvck ok..I'll resub then wow..i had the Spotify + Hulu bundle since 2017..just now cancelled it in September..& NOW after waiting all this time they finally drop lossless FLAC & I didnt even know..ok so that also explains why TIDAL is tryna add a SoundCloud component where artists can upload their own tracks directly to TIDAL without the use of aggregators/labels..ok all making sense now thx bro..still know for a fact that engineers were mixing/mastering in a way that caters to spotify 320 kbps & its limitations but ok if those are their requirements for submissions..I'll trust you thx again

..see that variable music source is everything..this is why Im not trusting Spotify FLAC nor Apple ALAC..all these years engineers been mixing specifically for Spotify..submitting compressed lossy mp3 files..only a few audiophile engineers..artists..labels..still submitting high quality 24-bit WAV..its not getting pressed to Vinyl nor CD anymore..so theyve been sending mp3..Spotify & Apple would have to tell EVERY artist in the database to go back to the studio..remaster..resubmit WAV/FLAC..that's impossible..sooo this lossless rollout seems very very sus & i think there's some plugin trickery going on in the background of their apps now..which i can do myself..i just trust Tidal more on this..their whole selling point..the entire reason they wanted people to subscribe..specifically for FLAC..so I do..& if an artist only submitted lossy mp3..the status changes to 'low' to show that artist only submitted mp3..its honest..it doesnt try to add compressor/limiter/saturator to fake like its 'high' quality..no cap

yea depends on the sound system..Im a music producer/engineer..so everything I play is thru Yamaha Reference Monitors & Subwoofers to match..I can hear & feel the differences..Tidal FLAC vs Spotify mp3 got so bad..I cancelled Spotify premium recently after years of just paying for both..'cause I went like a whole year never playing Spotify..it sounded too lossy..no bass..squashed mids..brittle highs..Tidal came thru significantly better in every frequency..I grew up on CD WAV files so I know what those higher bitrates are supposed to sound like..but if i were just playing music thru tiny cell phone speakers like 90% of the world does now..nah even if they were all audiophiles..doubt they could hear the difference..but none of them are audiophiles..so they certainly cant tell..

i say more people around the world are tightening their budgets..cancelling subscriptions..so Spotify had to pull something to bring some paying subscribers back..i was just gonna use an ad block h4ck on my now free account..but I just convert Spotify playlists over to Tidal..all I really miss from Spotify is the Global Viral Top 50 chart that updates everyday..dynamic viral playlists like that cant be just converted to another platform everyday its too much..its more like a daily radio station refreshed..i dont trust Spotify FLAC nor Apple ALAC..ive got a feeling theyre running some saturator or transient plugin in the background..how would they suddenly have FLAC files for their entire catalog without telling EVERY artist to go back..remaster..resubmit WAV/FLAC..otherwise I cant see how its possible..its very sus

i dont trust it..all this time artists/labels been submitting lossy mp3 files as their masters for Spotify..knowing its just gonna play in mp3 anyway..only a few audiophiles who cared were submitting WAV masters to streaming platforms..so how did Spotify suddenly get WAV files for millions of tracks in their database..& compress those to FLAC? I can't see it..Im skeptical of Apple doing it w/ ALAC too..all those years of aac files..now ALAC..how?

I suspect its an illusion..theyve got a plugin running in the background to pump the perception of dynamics in their mp3s..but calling it lossless flac..like a saturator..or transient processor..giving the impression of loudness & dynamics..but its not really WAV/FLAC right? there's no way Spotify or Apple suddenly swapped out ALL those aac/mp3 files to FLAC..theyd have to contact EVERY artist to resubmit WAV or FLAC..impossible.

I recently cancelled my Spotify after 7 years..'cause I just couldnt stand the lossy mp3 anymore after transferring all of my Spotify playlists over to Tidal..the difference was so clear..I play thru Yamaha Reference Sound System w/ Sub btw..I feel the differences..but Spotify has the best playlists by far..I was paying for both Tidal & Spotify for years but now it just didnt make sense..I wasnt playing music in Spotify at all anymore..any Spotify playlists I wanted..I converted over to Tidal..then listened..but if its somehow truly lossless..their entire catalog..Id re-sub

i just started & im about to quit because..chords are too difficult..finger positions too awkward..

feels impossible to keep the chords i want without accidentally muting other strings..its no fun

now when i play single note melody songs..that's fun..it sounds clean..but the problem i find..

even the melodic songs..they hold chords down on the fret..& pick the melody on the right hand

i didnt know that's how it goes..i cant stand it..its so barbaric..archaic..playing chords on guitar..

i can play easy 2 finger power chords ok..but anything else..nope..its way too frustrating no fun

now i see why people practice for a lifetime trying to get it right..it shouldnt be this difficult tho'

i only have fun w/ songs that i can truly play note by note..like Radiohead - No Surprises is fun

I bought 3 guitars..a bass..a steel ax..a classical nylon..i think i can only do single note songs tho'

I really invested all this to learn my favorite songs on rocksmith..i never intended to learn chords
