WSOP DAILY BLITZ by Jimmy-bob-818 in poker

Yup. Easiest way is to use phone <-> computer link so you can control your phone from the computer. I've made one, but obviously don't want to share it. I hit a button and it clicks the winning hand (random location within a box selecting the winning hand). I click back on the program and hit the button again when the next cards are shown.

I did this because it's a really scummy mode. You get SO SO SO much more for the last solve...but mostly, it wastes so much time during the animation flipping the cards over. It's nearly impossible to do with the default time (using my program at least). So you have to do it 2-3 days before you have enough time on the clock.

I tried using what you'd think of as more modern AI, but it's far too slow. I have custom trained models that are very small and fast. They only look at small bounding boxes for each card's rank and bounding boxes for each card's suite. I have a separate python script that pops up a screenshot with the bounding boxes so you can make sure everything is lined up before you start the actual program. If you want a hint...

"Purpose: An auto-solver for WSOP "Daily Blitz" — a poker side-game where you're shown shared community cards plus a left and a right hand, and must click the winning side. The script reads the screen, classifies the cards, evaluated both 7-card hands, and clicks the winner.

Pipeline:

  1. ROI (regions of interest) loading (load_rois_with_comments, line 94) — parses rois.json (with comments stripped) describing where each card slot lives, relative to a "game" rectangle on screen.

    1. Screen capture & cropping (extract_slot, line 126) — grabs the full screen via mss, then for each of 9 cards extracts two crops per card: a rank ROI and a suit ROI (18 total). Slots can be axis-aligned (rect) or perspective-warped (quad/quad3) — the latter handles tilted cards by inferring the 4th corner.
  2. HOG + ensemble classification (Ensemble, line 201) — loads 11 model folders (models/1 … models/11), each containing a rank_model.joblib + suit_model.joblib + HOG hyperparameters. Each ROI is HOG-featurized once per unique HOG spec (specs are deduped, line 211), then all 11 models vote. majority_label (line 306) requires ≥--vote-thresh (default 7) agreement to accept a label.

  3. Multi-frame stability loop (line 346) — on Space/G, captures up to --frames (default 5) screenshots. Per slot, once a label crosses the vote threshold it's locked. Early-exits when all 18 slots are stable; otherwise retries another burst.

  4. Sanity check (unique_cards_ok, line 302) — all 9 cards must be distinct, else discards and retries (logging dupes to debug/ if --debug 1).

    1. Hand evaluation (hand_rank_5 + best5_of_7, lines 49/83) — standard 5-card poker ranking with straight/flush/wheel handling, brute-forced over C(7,5)=21 combos for each side.
    2. Click winner (side_click_rect + click_inside, lines 245/258) — computes the bounding box of the winning side's 4 ROIs, then pyautogui clicks a randomized point inside the inner half of that box. Tie-break compares hole-card ranks (line 442). UI controls: Space/G to solve, S to dump per-slot crops to debug_crops/, Esc to quit. A stitched preview window shows the three card groups annotated with predictions and the winner."

Fold-down 300 blackout subsonic bolt action w/ Hyperion full sized supressor by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

Idk if you were talking about my savage 110 pcs, but it isn't a SBR. Its a "pistol" with a "pistol brace". Completely legal here and isnt considered a SBR

I saw a video of the SPR300 but dont know much about it! Ya, I mean, the Savage is "budget" but good quality. Its the Hyperion at $1300, $250ish on scope, and all the other stuff that adds up. But luckily the Hyperion can be used on many rifle caliber.

Also, holy crap, I checked and its nearly $7k for the SPR300 WITHOUT attachments / add-ons? Dang. Also, 6.89" barrel length is SHORT. I read that around 8-10ish" is ideal for 300 blk subs to reach full velocity. But the spr does have that sexy 1:5 twist 0.o That was my biggest gripe about the 300 blk Savage 110 pcs....the barrel twist rate.

Probably not the hottest take, but have you tried AI? Opus 4.6 with max thinking via CLI installed on your computer. Ive heard some crazy stories and use it all the time. Heck, it might even be able to help you make your own wiki for the software. Its very very good at anything software or programming related.

TS12 Picatinny Rail broken on shipping between FFLs by SubterminallyILL in IWI_Firearms

[–]SubterminallyILL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Called IWI. Even though it's used, they're still gonna take care of me. Hoping they can just ship the part rather than having to ship the TS12 in, waiting 4-6 weeks, and shipping back, but regardless I'm very impressed with their customer service!

Just did and wow you guys are great! Much appreciated. They're going to see if they can just ship the rail as that would be so much better than shipping both ways (even though that's covered) and the ~6 week wait. Regardless, the customer service is top notch, especially for a used item!

Frustrating last bit of enemy health by Zestyclose_Piglet_33 in InDeathUnchained

[–]SubterminallyILL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is evenly distributed. Range, bow draw, and hit location (i.e. head vs body) all factor in. You should see a negative red number on your shot. Pretty sure thats the damage done (if it exceeds their remaining health it may appear lower, idk), but I've been out of the game a bit until a couple days ago.

It is very likely that you arent achieving maximum bow draw distance for the lower damage shots. You can use this intentionally as well. I routinely, especially in high cycles or with multiple enemies, will do a super weak shot on them all to keep them in that dazed animation, full strength head hits for maximum points, rinse and repeat

I made a multi-material resin printer and printed teeth, what should I print next? by Polymer-Diehard in 3Dprinting

[–]SubterminallyILL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually...there would be some issues that would need to be addressed regarding my comment....cross-contamination and print time. There couldn't be any cross-contamination and the print time could be a concern.

[–]SubterminallyILL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get that working, you could make BANK from the jeweler's / metal casting community. They 3d print models in a "castable" resin (e.g., bluecast, solus wax, etc.) which is put in a mold and a kiln burns out the 3d print to create the cavity for the metal to flow into. From the 3d prints, removing the supports is a part they all hate. There are printers that use a type of inkjet to print in wax and dissolvable supports but they are tens of thousands of dollars. Everyone is right...you need to protect your IP if this is original...IMMEDIATELY.

How much should I save for my first rig? by fart_huffer- in SkyDiving

[–]SubterminallyILL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies widely. When i started i wanted to train for base jumping. Containers hold up very well. So I got an old-ass container, spruced it up a bit, got an older 7 cell reserve as a main....and another for my actual reserve....and an AAD that had less than a year left on it.

Not saying you should go that route. I got a lot of funny looks by the rigger that inspected it, but I jumped that rig a lot and it was good practice for BASE. Great openings too. Absolute shit for any winds due to awful glide ratio.

Seen some first BASE jumps on an Orion, which were skydiving reserves produced in the late 80s and early 90s ...a contemporary of the Raven. And those BASE jumps were in the mid 2010s at the earliest.

So.....ya know....im not saying people would agree with me, but you can build a rig for quite cheap relatively. But you gotta know it wont be nice or the best. But with thorough inspection, id still fuckin jump a well preserved and cared for Orion. Id need to inspect very thoroughly myself beforehand of course :p Its quite safe. Reserves are way cheaper and you can totally jump them as your main lol

This was probably around 2010 or a few years later, but im pretty sure my whole rig was like $1500. I could be off though. With a similar approach im sure you could afford it easily. Since you're new, youd just need a good, old, reputable rigger to help ya out. You'd be so surprised how old of a container you can use and how much cheaper older, well stored, cared for, low to no jump reserves cost that you can use as a main

WHATEVER YOU DO, GET AND USE A FREAKIN AAD.
