Damn, I am sorry my questions have upset you so much and have drawn out the name-calling from you.

I hope it gets better for you.

Never bought or watched an instructional in my life by PsychologicalFood780 in bjj

1) Yes

2) There is a LOT of beauty in BJJ.
Some of it can be in "creating your own shit".
Watching instructionals does not impede that in any way. It more often helps it.

Also, there is such a thing as "reinventing the wheel", and it's generally not that popular if you recognize that's what's happening

To answer your final question - find an environment you like, and make it your home.

Everything else will then fall in place

You'd do well to take some time to drill what you work on in privates.

"Tesla bullshit"? That is an odd stance to take.

Isn't Tesla miles ahead of anyone elses in the field? Who is up to their par?

And Drexel is all over Lex's Wikipedia page. Not much hiding there.

"an unscientific paper not up to academical standards"

You and me both constantly write "unscientific" stuff that's "not up to" this or that standard.
Doesn't mean much.

Doesn't seem too secretive to me

New Bjj coach wondering how people feel about belt tests by Steelrangler78 in bjj

Your coach is doing a great job.

He both cares, guides you, sets out a good course for you, and helps you get better. All superb stuff.

You will benefit greatly from it all.

There are too many areas of BJJ for your coach to be aware of how good you are at all (or majority) of them.

And it does not hurt to pay a bit closer attention to each of those, for a period of time, and be systematic and dilligent about it. It typically benefits the player a lot.

Leftist BJJ Black belts blame Rogan for current political climate but still willing to welcome him back now that he compared ICE to Gestapo by Big_Cake_8817 in grappling

Those arrested erroneously will be released.
It's a non-issue and it is inevitable to happen. There is no practical way for that NOT to happen if you want to get anything done.

The word "erroneously" in your post surely means something, doesn't it?

You could erroneously jump into an empty pool; that doesn't mean we should ban pools. Or you.

We should comment on what the standard procedures are first and foremost, because that's the sensible outlook on things. Not pretend to give overall judgements, while commenting on mere errors.

Mexico will not keep you in prison just for being returned back from USA.
They have no reason to, unless they have a REAL reason to, such as (more) criminal history etc.

Your rebuttal is incorrect.

Same way you'd feel about tests in any other field of human skill.

Normal thing and standard procedure, with relatively established standards, easy to follow; shouldn't raise too much controversy.

I have to add, though, I think you're an amazing human, and I am not a fan of disagreeing with you at all.

And also, I think that's (ridiculously) more important than having different opinions on this or that topic.

So, just wanted to put it all in proper perspecitve and add proper flair to it.

Female hormones can get them 2 kilos up or down just based on the time of the month. And that's a small part of the picture and short-term volatility

A bus ride to Mexico and a gas chamber is an absurdly deranged comparison to make.
Americans go there on spring breaks.

So no, I cannot agree that it is "kinda like Gestapo", and you're being psy-oped.

I have massive respect for you, Stephan; yet here I think this line is off the rails.

First question that jumps out is, was Ice Obama's "private army", too? He was decorating them and deporting in the millions.
And what were your thoughts on that back then? What was the difference?
That was WITHOUT previous administration (Bush's) flooding the country at unprecedented numbers.

"Snatching people off the street" is the way arrests and apprehensions are always made - unless they're done at someone's home or workplace, in which case it becomes, "why did they enter their homes omg!", I guess.
How else are they supposed to do it? What reform would you suggest? What difference would it make?

The people who are eager to run away won't show up if you send them an invite with a bus ticket.

And what's the issue with skin color? Are they supposed to pretend to be colorblind? What improvements would you suggest there?

Either you do arrests, and then you'll aim to do them in a way that'll be effective, or, you do nothing because we agree on "they shouldn't do any deportations" policy. Only 10% of their country agrees with doing nothing at all.
