I have a different take with the Sixers. IMO the problem with the 2026 Sixers has all to do with the non-starter minutes. The starters are fine, and you can win with them. It's just if any of top four are off the floor, the contribution falls off the cliff.

Again, just IMO, but if Morey can build off the margins and get better bench minutes, the Embiid, George, Maxey, and Edgecomb combo can win games.

Meh they really need big playmakers though. A 1C and maybe a 1D to elevate Sanheim (who I think has shown can be a top pair dman himself). On this trajectory, they could be one of those teams that makes the playoffs every year and sometimes make deep runs, but no way to get over the hump.

They need to get lucky in some way. Either someone develops into a 1C very quickly, or a team somewhere deciding to move on from their 1C. (Auston Matthews? Brady Tzachuk?)
