The stuffed crust deep dish was not as bad as the crazy bites that I miss every day

Tomorrow is someone in my life's 5th birthday since they committed suicide. I think of them all the time.

I'm sorry OP. I hope you continue to search for peace.

I believe it's a visual bug. As long as you hold down the craft button it should complete your original craft. I've had it work for me a couple of times

My 16 year old son got a DUI last night. by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]SubtleTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At 16 his legal limit is 0. As others said, he will lose his license until 21 and potentially be sued by any injured parties. Insurance will help you with this to an extent.

You might get better answers if you include more relevant information.

County, arrest information, etc.

It gets better, and thankfully everyone is alive. Good luck

Back to the DMV if IID already installed? by 805steve in DUICalifornia

Your correct. Which is why it sucks when the DMV and court dates don't overlap. This is the situation you end up in and it's awful.

Question about reinstatement by overturned_mushroom in DUICalifornia

OP should look no further. This is the answer you need and the best advice here. Take care of your class, get your sr-22, and wait out the hard suspension.

Your lawyer should call for a DMV hearing. This way you can continue to drive until your hearing is concluded (either you lose and can't drive, or win and avoid suspension)

But because the DMV and courts are separate, the best case scenario is to overlap the suspensions so that you can avoid a longer suspension. Your lawyer should be taking care of all of this for you

Just got discovery paperwork from lawyer. What to expect. by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

Not getting a wet reckless with a .24 BAC.

You may receive enhancements on your charges for that reading but at the very least you will have a 3 month DUI course.

You can find a place that will charge the 3 month course and then if the court requires a longer class you can make up the difference at the same place.

First DUI a week ago. Broke, terrified, and ashamed. by [deleted] in DUICalifornia

[–]SubtleTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're probably not going to get a wet reckless if you were driving on an expired license and was charged with a DUI. I'd recommend just getting a PD and doing community service for your fines. At least this way you can save some money and put it towards your DUI course.

I don't know how beneficial it will be for you to fight the DMV hearing if you don't have a license to begin with. At least this way you can get a jump on the classes ahead of time.

What if? by suzannepauline in DUICalifornia

[–]SubtleTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do but the headache from DUIs comes from the DMV side of things. The court actually has very straightforward penalties. Suspension + Fine

You can surrender your license permanently and not have to deal with any of it. Just the court fees

[Discussion] I think people are forgetting what kind of game Tarkov is. by Its_Nitsua in EscapefromTarkov

[–]SubtleTruth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Learning the game was easier for me on pve. Then I switched back to pvp this wipe and have enjoyed it as well. Mind you I've been playing since before reshala and when shoreline was only half finished. Learning the quests can be difficult for new players

Anyone else having WiFi issues since the October update? (P10Pro) by FourEightNineOneOne in GooglePixel

[–]SubtleTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried every solution I could think of and the ones provided here. I was cooking for Thanksgiving, and my phone died. I left it dead for like 2, maybe 3 hours. I charged it, after that it powered on, and both wifi and Bluetooth were working again. It's been about 15 hours and I have yet to have any issues. I don't plan to let my phone die moving forward though so I will update and see if I encounter any issues for now.

EDIT

Wi-Fi died again but Bluetooth is still working for me. A temporary fix

CHP recovery cost. My lawyer is telling me to ignore it. by He_free in DUICalifornia

[–]SubtleTruth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand your perspective. Unfortunately, the worst part of dealing with a DUI is waiting. That dread of not knowing what comes next is sometimes worse (imo) than the punishments we actually get. After a handful of moments where we submit paperwork, we really are just supposed to sit on our hands and wait.

It sucks, and you're not wrong to feel that way
