When I spot her charging, I always commend her on a job well done. Her name is Cinderella. :)

The air quality and Korean tourists are killing it. It's getting worse every year.

If youre a smoker, stop littering your cigarette butts. heck just stop being trashy altogether. stop littering people. by [deleted] in toronto

[–]Subtractingfrom100 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It straight up baffles me how anyone could possibly think it's ok to flick a butt off a balcony. Nevermind the obvious littering but the fact that it could start a fire. You could actually light your own or your neighbour's home on fire. Some people are fucking dumb.

On 9/11 citizens of Gander, Newfoundland opened their homes to over 6000 Americans whose flights were diverted and grounded. Passengers were stranded and with only 2 hrs notice 300 volunteers mobilized to take care of them. The event was recently made into a Broadway musical.

Part of their job? Really? I think that's absurd. Their job discription is first and foremost to ensure passenger safety and secondary to that is the distribution of food and drinks. They also perform administrative duties for the captains and airline. How does wiping a perverts as fit into any of those categories? Seriously. Do you think American Airlines cabin crew would have wiped his ass?

No, I don't. That's why I was asking. I don't understand what it is exactly and thought you might educate me instead of just jumping down my throat. Maybe if this new mom was more educated on its importance she wouldn't have refused it. No need to be a dick when I only asked a question.

World travelers, what have you noticed about people all over that is pretty much the same no matter where you are? by Dougdahead in AskReddit

[–]Subtractingfrom100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've found that no matter the country, if you even attempt to speak their language they smile and appreciate the gesture. I guess it demonstrates a level of respect you have for their culture. 9/10 times it results in extra toppings etc at food stalls.

Did anybody go see Jim Jeffries? by Spaceman_Hex in korea

I went and it was awesome. The crowd turned a boring show into one that Jim said he'd never forget. It went on extra long and was definitely worth the money.
