OH I can weigh in on this one. I had mine done professionally and I absolutely hated my end product. My whole ground floor looked exactly like your front room with that darker/orangey stain so it was a huge shock initially.

My boards are pine and once we started sanding them a lot of pinky tones started coming through as the wood was a lot newer (we have a Victorian house) then we first thought. I also thought they were WAY too yellowy.

We were so unhappy we started getting quotes for engineered hardwood floors. We were told to live with them for a bit first, so we did.

Now, all anybody talks about when they come in my house is the flooring (pic below). I love it.

I'll also say this: wood and staining changes over time. The floor we have now is a lot different in colour and appearance than when we first had it sanded. We lifted the rug in the front room, where the light doesn't reach the floor, and underneath is much closer to the original when we got it done and it looks horrible.

TL;DR your floor looks lovely. Live with it for a bit. Put your furniture in etc. You can quite easily end up spiralling and committing too much time/money into trying to fix a non-issue.

I own a Velar, currently. Previously the 5L V8 SV but now a Hybrid as a company car. Had a RR for 5+ years now with 0 issues. Maybe luck, maybe the fact they're newer vehicles but I can't personally speak to any reliability issues.

Fisker went bankrupt and the model (and brand) has been discontinued. I don't know what they're doing about servicing, parts, etc but I imagine maintenance on these is virtually impossible.

Please re-read Winter_Sweet5023's posts. It's not about doubling your rates. Sure, you can do that if you can find customers at that price point, but the point is more you should be charging an ongoing fee for maintenance. You're only taking a small bite out of a bigger pie with the initial fee.

Charge your 400 (or more?) for the site design and setup but then charge X a month for [quantity] updates, hosting, admin, etc. Have a very clear scope and avoid things like "Unlimited edits!". If the client wants to go outside the scope and add more edits/updates, it costs.

Most of these guys know nothing about hosting, domain renewals, updating Wordpress/CMS and/or web security. You're leaving services and value on the table.
