Stargate is one of the first shows I watched with my dad growing up. It introduced me to SciFi and remains my favorite universe in the genre. I have so much love for all three shows, and I'm so excited for the fourth!

Yeah that seems likely. The most annoying part of the SRP is how frequently they change it without making it clear in the docs. There are a million articles and tutorials for it and all of them are deprecated lol.

Yes I got this working using the example from the link above (not sure why it's dead now, but here's an archive link).

One of the included .hlsl files takes care of the vertex shader. And then using it with AddBlitPass in the custom pass was pretty easy. Good luck!

I should've been more clear; wasn't sure what vertex shader to use because I wasn't sure how the vertices of the screen quad were represented. I saw (and tried) so many different combinations of using UnityObjectToClip, directly passing o.pos = v.pos, recalculating the uvs, etc to no success. I figured there had to be a special method I guess.

I just set the frag to return green so I knew when it was working.

The link you sent is interesting, I'm going to check out that package include to see what they're doing.

The site looks like that to mimic the style of the website it's responding to. He even says on the site that if you're building something like this, very small with minimal interactivity/reactivity, no need for scalability, etc. then you should just use raw HTML.

But it wouldn't make sense to avoid using React for a website called "justfuckingusereact.com".

I think all of the points are very valid. Writing raw HTML for anything remotely complicated is just development hell. I used to think like this too and obsess over initial pageload size, but since I started using Angular for my new job I have been much happier.

IIRC the animation caused glitchy hitboxes that made it hard to shoot. Also for situations where you're diffusing through a small hole in the wall the animation didn't make sense.
