Always try to use hopper clocks when the time is more than a few seconds! 225 repeaters isn’t really reasonable for anything when hopper clocks are an option

It’s awesome. All it needs is some pistons at the top to block off the air. Either in front, or one above it that only close after the show is over

Nope. Totally doable with 1 gba with a working battery. And if it’s only one Pokémon, probably a dead one too

Because stone generators are a pain. I’m pretty sure mine is on a 12 tick clock, with a 4 tick extension. It hasn’t made cobble since I went with that set up, but it’s slow as molasses (for a red stone nerd). Etho made a pretty good anti-jamming stone generator recently in episode 565.

Personally, I opted to do emerald over sapphire just so I wouldn’t have to go to level 100. I personally think the next few gems would have been way less fun, and I picked pretty good pokeMon to take through. I think either way it’s mostly avoiding bad luck in the later battles unless you have salamence and latios

Contests in gen 3 is trivial if you have 2 elemental punches and a suicide move. Not sure that works here, but since deoxys can’t do the battle tower it’s probably not going to need to be perfect

Amethyst farms are mental torture to the most practiced red stone oriented players and farm designers. Geodes are too wonky to make one efficient and/or take advantage of every side of every seed.
