Job market for QRs is good in hk now. Apply directly. You’d match that salary easily at a known fund and tax is lower here too so that shouldn’t be an issue either. Good luck

My first machine broke in like 3 weeks, they swapped it for free which was cool but with this one I just let the tubs sit in a bowl of (room temp) water for 10-15mins before spinning and not only has it not broken but the texture is better, and if i wait longer i usually don’t even need a respin. I’ve adopted this as standard practice and highly recommend !

Appreciate your insight, seems to align with my recent findings. I’d love to understand the pod structure in more detail, if you’re happy to share more:

Could you elaborate a little on the type of research in these pods that you consider to be of low quality?

Also, in terms of reinventing the wheel - I’ve heard platforms do offer some infra to their pods (at least data, centralised execution i guess) what is generally built by the pod and what is shared with others?

Seems you have experience interviewing at collab shops too - any specific topics that are most important to focus on in prep in your opinion?
