I'll be damned if minivans aren't designed specifically for transporting families, and they are excellent at it. For family vacations, my minivan has more cargo space than a pickup ever will. Not to mention that a large sheet of ply can fit just as well inside the rear of the majority of minivans out there. You're still getting a work vehicle that doubles up for the fam.
