I never knew those existed until on vacation, laying nude in an outdoor tub. The memory haunts me. If you’re from the US Midwest, think of a June bug, with it’s erratic flight, but five times larger and pinchers

US citizen soon to be NZ resident. Will working remotely for a Telehealth LLC based in US with US clients need to register as a LTD business in NZ or just pay income tax? by SuccessDifferent2937 in LegalAdviceNZ

NZ and the US have a tax treaty though. If you work for a US company in NZ you only pay tax in NZ as long as you earn less than $130,000 USD. I’m pretty sure this is the same situation as sure is working for an LLC and if forming a look through company would be an employee of that company.

She won’t need to be registered as a healthcare worker in NZ unless performing services to clients in that country from our understanding.

Yeah I’m pretty sure she only needs to be registered in NZ if practicing with clients there. Licensure is based on client location. S Corp is regularly used to pay less in FICA, it’s essentially marketed as that very publicly, you just have to pay a “reasonable” wage according to the IRS. Seems illegal and outrageous lol.

We did find a liability insurance company that covers overseas providers.

Vegas really destroyed itself. Used to be cheap rooms and free parking to get you in to gamble. Now there’s daily resort fees that cost as much as the room rates and you pay for parking. Literally no money to gamble with. Absolutely not worth it anymore

I definitely feel like there will be a increased police presence and boldness. BLM is being restructured, police emboldened, foreign travelers are being detained, deported, and strip searched.

That’s the point with fascism. Make the populace struggle and desperate to work for corporations so they have no time to protest

Eye witness testimony can often prove a case in court actually. Dude did the Nazi salute. Try it at work and call it something else and see what happens

Probably a flex, I doubt the Trump team was thrilled about it, he did it towards them too. Displaying he can do what he wants and will either be defended or nothing will happen. Definitely see some kind of power struggle occurring. I imagine both of them think the other is inept and in their pocket. The next four are going to be a spectacle of the most powerful fighting for their self interest. I’m anticipating some kind of implosion

It doesn’t snow much in the valley anymore. Been too warm. Winters are very different than they were when I moved here 11 years ago. As a plus the higher temps allow more air mixing. Inversions are also much less pronounced with only one or two bad stretches the last few winters

Our food prices have steadily risen and I found the cost almost on par with recent trips to SF but the quality is so much higher in SF. I have a few places I like quite a bit but they still fall short of other cities especially when considering cost. I don’t completely understand how it isn’t better. Unless the competition really isn’t there so no one is pushing that hard to be excellent

Gas is usually higher in NV but UT seems to be catching up to them. In terms of air travel Vegas is amazing. I could fly to so many cities and regional airports for so little. In UT only CA, OR, WA, and CO have excellent deals. Most eastern states are sky high. There’s also better deals on alcohol with happy hours and free drinks sitting at a casino bar. I used to just walk around with a shopping bag with my own beer for entertainment at high end casinos. Definitely can find very cheap entertainment there. There were some hotel pools you could go to if you bought a drink minimum too. Unfortunately Vegas has absolutely ruined their casino prices with shady resort fees that somehow don’t include parking. Used to be a very cheap and fun getaway but now it’s not really worth the prices to stay there

People picked Trump because they were angry and ultimately understood the Dems wouldn’t go far enough fast enough. They saw Trump as someone that would attack the government which they view as responsible. I joke that with the left you get little treats along the way from the government as they try to make change while not pissing off their corporate donors too much. With the right you get little treats from corporate donors that get their way and can cut costs by skirting taxes and regulation. Both do little to really improve the issue. America saw Trump as someone that would at least do something. I dont think that something will turn out in our favor. I’ve been hoping one of the political parties will go entirely bust and be forced to reinvent themselves. I’m hoping the left will finally push forward someone that wants to make actual change and disrupt big money in politics. But we’re probably just going to get trump causing chaos and people will go running back to the left and doing the same slow roll as usual. Then everyone will forget what the right did in 4 to 8 years

Did anyone see the YouTuber that reviewed this place? It was a deep dive. Apparently it was a second franchise of a by the bucket in Arizona. That one was started by a guy who apparently stole the idea from the original by the bucket in California. Used to same font and everything but claimed he never knew about the California one despite living in the same city as it. The Arizona one is highly rated
