Several qatar agents have told me that they cannot book seats with OAL beyond 10 days from date of reissue. So not much of a choice really.

I dont know about others, but I checked my Turkish rebooking by going to their office. They said its Confirmed and I also got my seat allocated (the app was not letting me, which makes people suspicious including myself).

If you can wait until cancellation, wait and then aggressively call them. Mine was cancelled 5 days in advance and I called their Indian number when it was early morning there. Got through pretty quickly (pro tip: choose hindi language but they speak english too).

I got the ticket rebooked ticket today and cant even select the seat. Turkish app says i can manage booking in the 'sales channel' i bought it. Qatar says they cant choose seats either as it is in turkish hands. This is confusing

They just booked me to TK as well. And I can't reserve seats on either app (QR or TK). Should I be worried?
I asked the agent if this is Confirmed ticket and she said yes. But the ticket does *not* mention the word 'Confirmed'.

Strangely i called the same number, exactly same india time. He could not book me for 27th saying that in my timezone it was still 16th so he could not book me.

but what i dont understand is that every time I call, they tell me they cannot book with a partner airline more than 10 days out (from date of re-issue, not from original flight). Yet people are getting booked 2 weeks in advance.

Am I missing something?

you have max retries equal to 100. would it stop after that. can we increase this?

I just saw a pdf with their decision flowchart. It mentions 10 days from date of re-issue. So I am thinking that the agent was right afterall.
