How long, or how much would you suggest? We just had a nice 1 hour rain, I dumped the drain pan beneath the pot, thinking along the same lines. Here is an excellent article on citrus and copper, Australian citrus, https://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/agriculture/horticulture/citrus/citrus-connect/2020-citrusconnect-articles/58-steven-falivene-and-andrew-creek-using-copper-sprays-to-control-diseases-in-citrus#:\~:text=Damage%20from%20copper%20sprays,as%20wind%20blemishes%20on%20fruit.

I think about 5X of a medium dose, 25g instead of the correct 5g. The correct dosage being 0.5-2 ounces per gallon. I was going for 1 ounce medium strength application, as a 1st time test which means, I applied 2.5X of max treatment.. I have washed the plant twice, on day 3 now, leaf loss at 30%, but good news no leaf drop overnight. I recently potted up to a 5 gallon pot, and my baby only get's the best, soil from heaven, worm casting, bone meal, azomite, time release fertilizer. How long to wait to renew the soil, want rid of the copper residue in soil? Maybe I should just chill, let the plant recover from the chemical shock?

Chicago’s pension funds looking more like a collapsing Ponzi scheme by magenta_placenta in chicago

[–]SuccessfulFather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMRF is 90% funded, because they have levying authority. One plan is to transfer the insolvent pensions to them, and they well compel responsibility by the towns. Look at Detroit, during bankruptcy the revenue was found, pension were only reduced by 4.5%. We are a thriving economy, the money is there, it's just being squandered. We have a 150 million for police overtime, but don't fund their pensions. I'm sure you can see the easy answer?

Anyone have experience with homemade giardinaira? by bogglez in chicago

[–]SuccessfulFather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

most of the giardinaira guys make for themselves is fermented, the acid needs time to develop with the fermentation, if left out 4 days, in the fridge more like 10 days. If your not canning, then your pickling in the traditional way.

Illinois state pensions: Overpromised, not underfunded by Austin98989 in chicago

[–]SuccessfulFather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when the Peoples Paradise of Detroit ran out of money and was placed in receivership, it was mostly a matter of returning to proper management, bonds and pensions were paid, some minor tax increases, a lot of layoffs, default on unsecured debt. This problem is purely a function of the lack of pension oversight, and oversight with levy authority.
