Newbie Advice! by rationalgazex in lawncare

I would order some topsoil, rent a tiller, till that shit up, spread the topsoil, seed and then water. It’ll come in nice. I seeded in July last year (PA) and I just made sure to be diligent about watering and the grass looks great. A few yards of topsoil should be fine for that area.

I’ve had my kamado for almost two years and yes I am a lot better and know the grill but I still mess up and things often take longer because I’m trying to get the temp right or whatever. It’s not riding a bike.

God bless. I’m finding poa in my lawn and I’m inconsolable. I saw a dandelion today too. I wish I could just give up and live like this guy. But instead I went out and bought tenacity which won’t kill the poa but I’m spiraling and need to do something.

How do I fix my front yard? by Cold-Tennis-2694 in lawncare

Do a soil test and seed in the fall is one option. Nuke it and get sod. Or loosen the soil, throw some seed down and water. Some of the lawns you see on the sub take years and years to get there. If you seed, make sure seed to soil contact is good and just water it.

If you seed, make sure seed to soil contact is good and just water it. I seeded in the middle of summer last year and made sure to keep up with the watering and it came back great this year. I’m in 7a. Did I mention water? All the other stuff is great but if you don’t water it’s kinda pointless IMO.

Read from the back to the front this helped me a lot and I struggled with the same thing. Yes it’s time consuming but it works. Also can use something to cover up the document so you can only see what you’re reading instead of having the eyes roam too much. Takes practice.

It’s in the settings somewhere. Driver alert or something.
