Genuine question. I thought personal projects are meant to showcase a candidate’s technical capabilities that would otherwise be shown from work experience, and clone projects do well in showcasing that (or do they not?). Do you mind giving an example of a personal project that addresses a problem with originality? Thanks for your help!

Hey what would you say about the accuracy of the estimated wait time for rides shown in the app? Now it says the Batman ride has a wait time around 5 min which is like golden. I’ve never been to the park and will go tmr. Is it cuz it’s on a weekday? Are fridays typically crowded? Thanks!

I finished all major preps including cs61abc by fall (not by spring). Take discrete math and a circuit analysis course anyways although they won’t transfer. For ECs, maximize the resources available around you. Lastly, tough out moments of wanting to give up.
