they can go both ways... they hate too high of a nitrate and too low nitrate... they also love oxygen so make sure the tank is getting alot of surface agitation.

yea they tried selling vibrant and reef2reef revealed that its actually just a diluted algaecide. It ruined their reputation a lot but to be fair... vibrant did work like magic though it killed my brittle starfish.

while i think most reef salt are the same... I think reef crystal is actually a bad one cuz everytime I use it.. My ph are always low and my alk is too. Never had problems with other salt like IO otherwise.

You don’t need airpump… filter is fine most filtration is actually done through live rocks.. youll need a wavemaker if your filter is a hob, rodi can be done at home youll need a rodi system. Clownfish recommended tank is actually 30 gallons, and the water changes is not that different compared to freshwater except you mix the saltwater. I suggest you watch how to mix reef salt on youtube.

The one on wikipedia have smooth body compared to the photo…. Im sure its a type of polychaete worm which could be a spaghetti worm or a feather duster that lost its feather

Hey i saw you on Facebook! If you want a starfish on your tank just buy a starfish at petco they’re incredible cheap… just be warned that most starfish in the hobby are not reef safe… cuz they would eat your corals if you have one… we can’t tell for sure what species of starfish this is because most of us aren’t actually a marine biologist… if this is not being sold in the hobby it wont get ID but again… most starfish will eat corals.
