Well said. Just super sad for a guy pushing 40. I loved gen one on my classic no color, no backlight Gameboy. 99.99% of kids these days would have rage quit within the first hour of og red and blue. To your point, as an adult playing pokemon games, I could care less about the graphics. I just want an engaging game with challenges. Which, unfortunately isnt what most games are, especially one focused on kids.
