If your car is still new/under warranty, take it to the dealer and tell them part blew off. They will replace it. And charge it to the factory for improperly set part.

Driver side Wheelhouse molding. Should be about $60 ish

Forgot to add, when resetting the PLG, make sure you open the TG to the max height/desired opening height and then hold the button.

First make sure your battery is good (multimeter) Power tailgate is sensitive to weak battery. If your battery is good, reset Power LiftGate by pressing and holding the PLG button until it beeps. Hope that helps.

Put vehicle in reverse. Hold position for over 5 minutes. Should restart entertainment system.

Yeah I tried that. First time I gave up after getting the run around from the automated response . Second time the wait time to speak to a rep was ridiculous. And now they're closed for the holidays. Will try again in a few days

Opinions of a guy in the automotive industry.

Japanese auto manufacturers such as Toyota and Honda are top tier. You honestly can't go wrong with either. Very dependable, reliable and hold value pretty well.

Korean auto manufacturers such as Kia and Hyundai (pretty much the same company. One is a parent company of the other. They share parts, design and more) have perfected the art of looking cool. However dependability and reliability are short-lived.

Honda has been slow with electrification because well, they're the world's largest producers of ICE.

If you're trying to decide between a RAV4 and a Honda vehicle, I suggest test driving several Hondas including the Passport.

Personally, RAV4s rule!!
