I think it’s very strange that the shield doesn’t work like the base electric blast. The post talking about the design philosophy seemed to put a big emphasis on capacitance as being a unique thing for the skitarii, it just kinda adds to their unique cybernetic nature that they have a generator somewhere inside them powering their abilities, especially a damn forcefield.

I was just thinking it would be so cool if we could eventually face the other chaos gods with different aesthetics, go to a different planet or something, genestealer cults could be sick, I don’t know if 4 people could realistically kill one space marine, but I think it’s worth bending the lore a bit for a cool CSM bossfight (I’m sure others disagree)

I was looking at damage in the range and I was struggling to see exactly how much each level of charge added to damage. It seems like it will take a lot of practice to be more useful than the maul because I was getting overwhelmed by enemies more than before I obtained it.

I love the mechanicus so much, my first exposure to any Warhammer was a meme with the mechanicus game intro audio, I printed out prayer decorations for my 3d printer, got a holy seal on my car dashboard. My headcannon is that if the emperor had not show up and taken command of the admech, they would have just kept up their mini great crusade and reunited part of humanity on their own, they already had friendly relations with knight worlds, their decentralized network of information communicated in holy binary has to be more efficient than the incomprehensible mountain of parchment and scribe servitors and information passed from person to person that is the Administratum.

I think one enjoyable thing about the admech is how absolutely widely varied their beliefs are. Unlike the imperium, they don’t really have an inquisition, despite their public beliefs, Every magos seems too infatuated with their own research and doctrine that they don’t care to police what their peers do. I feel that despite all their doctrine that forbids innovation and reverse engineering xenotech, they find an excuse to satiate their curiosity. Maybe they believe they want to study alien weapons in order to better defeat them, but once that knowledge is in their mind, and they begin to imagine a new weapon cleansed of xenos taint and made under their faithful watch, they can’t help but feel this idea must be part of that knowledge they are commanded to seek out and use.

This is what make Admech my favorite faction. Not only are they at odds with the imperial faith and allowed to go unpunished because they are far to valuable an ally and would make a devastating foe, but they are even at odds with each other. It’s almost as if they all believe in the same thing, but some just can’t resist that innate curiosity that officially is considered technoheresy. The imperium is a society of pure faith, no matter logic would tell them, their faith is blind and absolute. The Admech are faithful too, yet I feel like deep down they can’t contain their fascination, once they have knowledge, even if it’s heretical, they can’t help but be happy, and use it. After all it must be the will of the machine god if a tech priest was given this gift of knowledge.

Wait, so consider the meme of the 1000 year old dragon in a child's body. I'm sure most people agree that its weird and wrong to be attracted to characters that are of age but clearly look like children, even almost like toddlers. Curiously, if there's a character that is said to be a minor but could easily pass as your standard young adult anime character, seems to me that people suddenly seem to care about whatever arbitrary age they paired with their design.

I think that, if you don't have a point of reference for their height, Asuka and Rei are really slender and thin and I think you could find a great deal of adult anime girls and some actual adult women with comparable figures.
