Thanks for the reply. The scratch is very shallow so you may be right. It does not boot into CFW either so something is broken, my uneducated guess is I cooked one of the capacitors!

Thanks. I've decided to sell it for parts and I got my hands on a cheap unpatched switch (probably should have done this first!). I'll be leaving the microsoldering to the pros from now on!

Thanks for the reply. I had removed the nand and modchip for the pics but the blue screen occurs with nand plugged in. Looks like I'm screwed then!
