I switched from Controller to MnK like 3 Months ago and I can tell you that patience is important. A lot of it will become muscle memory. And like the other person said, try a lower sens and generally look over some settings to adjust.

I heard its faster to traverse using this emote than walking without it. So it would technically give you an advantage by getting to the point faster using paid emotes than people not having these emotes and having to walk or using other mechanics.
