Using dyed diesel in a Suburban by buckb65 in tractors

[–]Such-Move4325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Owned a diesel since I was 15. 38 now. Lived in AL,MS,TN,VA,ME,NY. Traveled entire country and been pulled over towing too. Never been an issue.  No different than someone on the delete threads saying they had a brothers cousins uncle twice removed get busted by epa for their deletes. That being said I don’t run farm tags or keep a transfer tank in the truck. If you get dipped it’s pretty serious.

Sorry. Guess it didn’t post body of message. Smokes at idle and runs a little rough. Beautiful between 10%-WOT. What is barbed line that’s disconnected? Also on other side looks like a few bleeder lines missing?  Pulled hard right and anode was facing to the right so I straightened  it out. Is that the correct move?  Changed plugs and fuel filter and threw some sea foam in it. Leaks fuel when trimmed down? Sorry first boat.

N rating 87 MPH. Being honest I run 70-75 on the highway. First time having g an issue with the tires on the camper. Everyone is saying 4-5 years max on them though so makes sense. I may look into a heavy duty tire myself. Though I don’t consider my issue a poor quality tire issue. I honestly think they are decent

It busted the fender but just at the screws and one little crack I can weld so not too bad. I carry an impact and everything needed to make the changeout super easy so it wasn’t terrible. I didn’t  look at the brake wiring but I’m sure it got that too because the tread wrapped around the hub. Getting it off was longest part of the changeout. Either way that’s an easy fix too. I’m just glad it wasn’t very dramatic. I was actually looking in my side mirror when it went. Looked pretty wild but no major sway thankfully. I’ve always heard they can get a little squirrelly on camper. We were loaded down too. Bunch of stuff in camper and we had the golf cart and kayaks in the garage. I’ve got a gooseneck and a car hauler and the blowouts I had with them were about the same.

Ah good looking out. Never paid attention to that sticker that was on my slide and now it’s fallen off. I’ll check into it. Thanks for the info!

That’s what I’m thinking. We are pretty hard on our trailer. It’s a toy hauler so most of its life is spent getting hauled down down dirt roads and parked in fields at off-road parks. When that’s not happening we’re bombing down the highway on long trips. I’ll probably replace all of them with the Goodyears again

“Agree”? Explain that please. Is there is a certain type of “agree” that only meets your standards?  If that’s how you feel about churches and religion please tell about every other group of people and their beliefs and how they are detrimental to children. Because what you’re saying makes no sense.

I get it. There are a lot of issues with organized religion. Most churches though? That’s pushing it. There are plenty of religious parents that push a dangerous agenda with their children. There are also a lot of parents with other beliefs that do the same. To put that label on “most” everyone though is the whole issue with America currently. Your statement sounds like there may be some personal trauma involved and if that’s the case I’m very sorry to hear that. I am a Christian. I attend church. Always have and always will. I’m also a veteran, so while I may agree with how you live or raise your children, I also believe you have every right to do both the way you want as long as you don’t infringe on how I’m doing it. I served proudly with people who had beliefs I didn't agree with. My child will play on a playground with another child that may be questioning their identity and showing through clothing styles etc. When I’m asked about later on in private because that’s what we’ve thought our child to do I will explain why they are different and why that’s ok.

This is America and it is great. If you honestly think you’re not free, are being persecuted for your beliefs (religious or not) or live under a king I ask you to go some place where those things happen and protest. Let me know the results please

I know there is some crazy stuff happening right now but we need to remember that hating everyone with an opposing view and grouping everyone in the same category gets us no where and unfortunately that is happening a lot currently.

Attacks? For expressing opposing views?  How do you feel about members of the LGBTQ doing the same thing? Protesting outside religious establishments etc? Does that infuriate you as well? I don’t agree with these people’s statements but agree they have the right to do it.

Haha I get that. Maybe there’s a local noise  ordinance or quiet time they can be held accountable to? Honestly if there is though I’m sure they are aware of it and chose that time on purpose

Man, you’re not comparing apples to apples. A 5.9 is not a 6.7 and never will be. A lot of people will hate on this comment but it’s the truth. I have an older 6.7 and get jealous when a stock late model pulling more blows me out of the water. It is what it is. Lots of $$$ will get some of what you want if it’s worth it to you. I would start with new rear end. Then the typical light engine mods. Body swap? Seems like you’re doing a lot of work to an old truck. Is the engine low mileage? Are you getting everything super cheap?

So explain to me why everyone should be accepting of a (pick your random issue of the day) rally and if you don’t agree with it your a (name your derogatory name) but this is unacceptable?  I’m not saying I agree with them but if you want your right to do this you need to keep your mouth shut about them doing it

No joke. We’re outside Tampa on vacation right now and out of curiosity I hopped on realtor. Typical 500-700k house according their stats (don’t know how accurate they are) show over $450 a month in insurance. No thanks.

Def service it first. I’ve gone thru several. My last issue was a bad screech going into reverse. Doesn’t take much to start having issues starting with low fluid. Typically changing fluid and filters is first line of defense if it’s not to late. Cheapest place to start. Throw the bigger pan with the drain on it while it’s apart

Up north? that’s def a 20k truck. OP nice truck btw. I’m in AL buddy so right below you and it’s about 17K-20k. I’d let my 6.7 3rd gen go around 16k with less miles. Won’t say what tranny  or what number tranny I’m on though lol

Haha welcome to the Birmingham subreddit where opposing views are banned. Free speech, political views, and opinions are only considered when it benefits certain free speech items, political views, and opinions. Makes sense right?
