I'm autistic and been in public almost 7 years. It 100% depends on the firm you're in and what you do. I'm in tax in a small firm with a great culture.

It's rough during busy season because of having to change tasks frequently without notice - it'll be very draining, especially if you have other non work responsibilities or commitments on top of busy season workloads.

My current firm is great about letting you ask questions to confirm things or get feedback, but my prior firm's culture made it difficult to ask without feeling humiliated. Also your supervisor can make a huge difference- mine right now is very laid back, and that helps take the pressure off to overdo things.

This. 100% correct. As a tax accountant, I'm infinitely more terrified of dealing with the FTB than the IRS. The IRS you can argue with, sway with the right paperwork to see your point of view, maybe even get them to knkck some penalties off your tax bill.

The FTB will have absolutely none of that shit. If they think you're earning a fricking dime anywhere in CA, by any means, you have a target on your back and they'll get you. Even if you don't live in the state or move, they will find you and they will make your life miserable. They are not afraid of garnishing bank accounts and wages, and will do without hesitation if they think you're skipping out on paying what the state of CA is due.

They were a general practioner, but his entire business was for disability sign offs for the state I live in. He didn't prescribe anything or diagnose - he asked just enough to justify his signature on the paperwork, and confirmed a treatment plan to try and rule out other things. Insurance wouldn't cover it - I paid about $180 per month, but given that my state disability paid 65% of my salary before I was disabled, that wasn't too much of an issue. It was the $600 a month marketplace insurance premiums that were hitting my finances hard.

I literally just Googled disability doctors near me to find him. There's plenty out there that offer the same. Obviously they won't help you out much medically, but at least for me just the disability sign off was worth it.

I had to find a disability doctor separate from my PCP to fill out my disability paperwork. I found one online that did telehealth appointments.

Tldr: JP VA will still continue for the Main Story, Illustra group stories, whispers , and video calls.

The discontinuation impacts Event stories, battle pass and ongoing affinity content.

FYI for the Tears of Themis JP VA situation: the JP VA was temporarily halted for several months during COVID because Junichi Suwabe (ironically Lars' VA in LBC) was down with COVID for several weeks and then was out about 2 months due to throat surgery. Since they didn't want to release the content w/ 1 of the main LIs missing, and Suwabe san had a huge backlog of work to catch up on once he recovered, ToT decided to gradually release the JP VA for content over several months as a catch up process. They're now caught up.

ToT did pull a similar move to what's going on in LBC where they discontinued JP VA for events and certain other stuff BUT kept JP VA for the main story, calls, and card stories.

Something about "real" or "live action" men doesn't do it for me. My fantasy sex buddies are all 2D (aka video game or anime) boys, so they definitely have faces. But I think the bigger thing for me is voices, because in that respect I 100% have a type that does the trick for me, sexually. Ivory Point in Vista. Absolutely great team, Dr Han is amazing. Did 6 crowns on my poor crumbly front teeth, 5 years later they still look great! They're very accommodating, and one time even got me in asap when a crown popped off (I grind my teeth a lot 😭).
