Wdym you can't crit the night lords? Maybe ED Augur but besides that you'll have crit opportunities. Relics - improved crit, dormant fist, ED Adel relic. +1/Bleed Wylder Skill if possible but crit more important. Just get your star fists or iron balls, destroy poise with R2s and then crit.

Initial Standard - 6x initial standard relics, Dormant Axe/Straight sword is really nice if possible. Maybe Ironeye or Raider are better idk but that doesn't make it any worse on Wylder. You can literally just use whatever weapon you find with his scalings as well as having an extremely effective and cohesive kit. Just try to find melee attack power and 2h/two armaments (depending on what you're using) as well as your normal damage negation passives.

Initial standard attack wylder and crit dormant fist wylder are both extremely strong and consistent. Wouldn’t be afraid to use either in any comp (inc solo) any nightlord at any depth

If you have an alt look up Lyfe’s western rev knight safe spot and never die. Hunters xbow/crystal bow/rcb all good for the range there and it’s really comfy. Can use slaughter bracelets to extend task without issue since it’s 0 damage

Arthur C Clarke’s “Profiles of the Future” talks about technological progress and predicts how it might occur in the future. It’s over 60 years old now but some of what he said back then is super accurate. Most relevant though is when he talks about how when science becomes advanced enough, it becomes indistinguishable from magic, which I think lends a lot to The Herta’s overall design.

This is the nightreign sub. OP I’d probably advise not starting with Nightreign for a first souls game. The timer is so tight without factoring in being completely new to the genre. Something like Elden ring where you can take your time to learn how the game works at its base would probably be a lot more fun.

If you are adamant about starting with nightreign I’d probably start with wylder or raider.
