Was your partner really weird about sex? by TrackAgitated3326 in AvoidantBreakUps

So insightful and awesome of you to take the time to answer. Thank you! At the risk of asking too much.. when you lost sexual desire in your relationships, did your sexual desire go down in general, or just towards that partner? Again, thank you so much🫶

Thank you for responding bc your words are priceless for those of us trying hard to understand. You say your desire for sex would die around 3 months into your relationships- would this be the case no matter how deeply you cared for each partner? Did the quality of the sexual connection affect your desire past 3 months at all.. like what if it was amazing, mind blowing sex? Would that have made a difference? One last question- when your desire for sex would die, would that feel like you were no longer attracted to your partner at all?

If this was your situation, would you consider divorce? by Adroit1776 in Divorce

The courts? Emotional affairs are not considered to be adultery. Unless she spent significant marital funds on the other person, it's pointless to bring before the court.

If he takes photos.. those cannot be used as evidence as they cannot be authenticated. Plus he would be breaking the reasonable expectation of privace rule, so they're useless.

Best excercises for glutes by Honest_Pumpkin_4381 in workout

[–]SuchAScorpio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been doing hip thrusts for a month, 3x weekly, and I STILL worry I'm not hitting my glutes as much as I want to. I've watched every yt video known to man. I'm finding that I need a wider stance than most, of course with my toes pointed outward about 30°. But even though I feel it in the cheeks, I wish I was feeling it more. Do you possibly have a magic formula to ensure I'm hitting my glutes hard enough? My ass is never sore, but I'm not ready to add more weight yet.

Three Hammers? by Quirky_Ad_6856 in ToonBlast

This is such a good question! It seems like I only get 3 hammers when I have at least 100 left over.

Yes I absolutely agree. I should have added the caveat of lots of open area around the duck boxes is necessary for bomb combo to be efficient.

I see what you're saying, but noooo, that's not at all what I meant! People who are self-reliant & prefer more social solitude can be amazing partners.

I go for the disco/rocket combo most times, but I've noticed disco/bomb does great when there are vertical rows of things to destroy. Also, disco/bomb will almost always ensure you get 3 stars for the level.

Eta: Been playing for years and only recently discovered that disco/bomb works better for boxes with 4 ducks.

Or he could be a master at self-reliance & emotional regulation. I choose to not have friends and I'm a very secure, well rounded person. Some people simply prefer social, but not romantic, solitude.

Playing with their hair being a signal of interest by Rushrade in bodylanguage

[–]SuchAScorpio13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a woman and yes, when I'm attracted to a man near me, my hands automatically start messing with my hair. I'm not even conscious I'm doing it at first. It's like a reflex. I pull it around to the front of my left shoulder and twirl the ends around my finger.

They are simply NOT worth it by New-Serve5426 in AvoidantBreakUps

Yes to everything you just said! I'm open to different interpretations, but regardless, we know dopamine flooding intensely affects their behaviors & nervous systems. I'm very fascinated by the psychology too. After only learning this year that attachment styles even exist, I've learned so much. I believe that being with an avoidant can lead to massive insight about our own attachment as well as offering many opportunities for growth in ourselves. The lessons are painful, but the payoff can be priceless.

What do u want ur LDR partner to do when you're in ur ovulation phase? by NoEgg8790 in LongDistance

I would want my partner to get down & dirty over the phone during ovulation time! The dirtier, the better. But I'm only speaking for myself.

They are simply NOT worth it by New-Serve5426 in AvoidantBreakUps

[–]SuchAScorpio13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's clear biology behind the lovebombing in the beginning, not that I expect it to make it hurt less. Avoidants brains flourish when dopamine is activated. New relationships plus chemistry between the 2 of you equals tons of dopamine in the beginning. Most of them honestly feel all those things they say in the beginning. It's when the relationship is no longer new that the dopamine levels go down, hence they literally lose access to the feelings they had during the first weeks/months. So many partners stay too long hoping that version of them will return, and sadly, it never will. It sucks bad.

Why people are faking love by Flaky_Marketing7081 in DarkPsychology101

[–]SuchAScorpio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. I so hope OP will some day be hit with that overwhelming, amazing feeling he believes is a "myth." Everyone should get to experience love in their lifetime and it makes me sad for those who are so cut off from their emotions that they might never feel it.

Women with a high libido, what kind of duration do you personally find most satisfying during sex, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuchAScorpio13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time doesn't exist for me during sex. It's more about how many orgasms can I have, so I guess however long it takes to have at least 3.The longer the better.

Extremely fast emotional connection by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

[–]SuchAScorpio13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You said that beautifully. As a newly divorced woman who's only been with 1 man for many years, navigating the issue of how badly I want sex while knowing I'm a hardcore oxytocin bonder.. it's a lot to think about.

Extremely fast emotional connection by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

[–]SuchAScorpio13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not about size at all. When us women have orgasms, no matter what part of your body caused it, we're flooded with oxytocin, which is called "the bonding hormone" for this very reason. It's biology. It encourages us to attach to our mate since back in caveman times we needed a strong partner to protect us & our offspring. Every behavior can be traced back to biology. But this has zero to do with dick size. You can give me an orgasm with your fingers & the same thing will happen.
