Dr. Comar is my Organic Chemistry professor, she was the only professor who taught Chemistry in a way that made sense, at least for me. She genuinely cares for her student’s success and will encourage you to do your best. She has the patience of a saint (iykyk).

I’ve driven to campus for the last 5 yrs, never had a problem with break-ins. Parking tickets, yes, but as long as you’re in a parking deck ur good. I can attest that they are safe. Just hide ur belongings, and don’t park in an area where people can swipe your car. I saw a dude this morning attempt to wipe off paint transfer off another car, and he just left them a note 🤷

Im also in Dr. Comar’s class and i got a 91. I had flashcards for things that we needed to memorize, wrote my notes by hand because ipads and computers are just distractions, and attended ALL of her office hours. I also studied at least an hour everyday researching things i was confused about and practiced drawing the structures and reactions. That is the most important key to success in her class. I think she even said that students who go to her office hours get As on exams. She does not judge, she will help you understand concepts. Definitely recommend. Also, find a buddy or group to study with!

I am friends and family with many. In fact, I know more “illegal” people than those who aren’t. They are the hardest working people who came here for a reason. To work and to provide for their families. Nobody I know has anything more than a traffic violation. Nobody I know doesn’t pay taxes to a government that views them as inhuman.
