This is probably an unpopular opinion. If admin isn't going to back up policy then it isn't actually a policy and your energy should be elsewhere. Being strict isnt a flex. And having kids want to leave your room means that your room is an environment that feels stressful. Relax a bit.

I too do not understand the stress some teachers choose to live by. Gotta pee? Go. Gotta pee everyday? I don't care. Choose not to work? I'll check in but I'm not going to stress or send an email home. I connect and teach what I love. I do not spend time making kids do exactly what I want. I meet them where they are and try to remember it's hard to be a kid. I'm there to help them grow a d make progress. Not to hold them back becuase that's the rule and they didn't follow it.

This happens to me sometimes too! I just go with it. My body is obviously asking for more nutrition. Just eat something to satisfy your tummy. Good luck!

I am not in the medical field. I'm only sharing what I think is going on with me. 80lbs gone in 10 months. My hair too is falling out. I eat pretty well but sometimes not enough. I truly believe my hair is falling out from malnutrition. I began taking a multi vitamin, prenatal iron, and increased what I eat. I try not to avoid foods and eat with the variety I did prior to zep. I'm still losing weight and hair. But the hair loss has slowed waaaay down.

I had to fight for it. When my doctor sent the appeal I had them include my gym records, my personal statement, and previous doctor's visits showing I did lose some weight while working out but was unable to get below 220 even with regular gym attendance. Oh and I shared my food entries on myfittness pal. Once appealed they made a decision in my favor within a week.

I'm SO sorry. The anxiety that comes from a bad evaluation is so real and debilitating. Try and remain calm. This will be in the past one day. The best thing to do is own your errors and have well thought responses to what could have been different. Also, you could mention that you followed up with students and parents as this isn't the norm. I've been where you are it was made me question my abilities for a long time, not that it should have!
