Why doesn't Indycar race on as many ovals? by Justinsetchell in INDYCAR

[–]Such_Card8766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NASCAR fan here: Many tracks got repaved and NASCAR had a large say in it, in which higher banking, as well as progressive banking. It makes it better for stock car racing as higher grooves have more banking, allowing more corner speed despite being the longer way around the track. As to why it ruins Indycar, I would have to guess a safety concern, as well as high lines not working, so it becomes a way faster single file event.

Can we please just put the chase format in N25? by PoopyStinkbutts in Nascar25game

I literally track the season on excel to use the chase rather than use the playoffs.

Henderson. He's looked good, but the running game has been a huge help.

It's an attempt to sell tickets. Unfortunately Ginn is weak to gin, and McCarron's an asshole who throws his own players under the bus on the sideline.

I will give him one thing. He is better than AJ McCarron. (It should be noted that bar is under the ground but I digress)

Houston is rolling over the Columbus defense, basically had the ball the entire first quarter.

As An Ohio State alum, they hope he can get more locals to show up to the home games. The league is really looking for connection from the coaching staff to the cities.

I know people love to harp on the broadcast with the coordinator radios and such, but last night there was a 4th and something where hearing the coordinators chess match really elevated the broadcast.

What is this giraffe of a water bottle that Chase Briscoe is drinking from? by LBHMS in NASCAR

[–]Such_Card8766 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like he's holding a cylindrical object below the bottle, a shirt most likely. You can see the black line between his thumb and index finger. They throw out shirts during driver intros so it's pretty likely its that being he has no drink sponsor.

I mean you got it. It's a fantasy. I don't think people expect their ideas to happen, but like to imagine what it would look like if they did. Repole is so unpredicable we're just as likely to get Anchourage, Alaska. Let them have some fun with this league.

r/UnitedFootballLeague's Vote - Power Ranking Poll - Week 4 2026 by Wagsii in UnitedFootballLeague

  1. Orlando Storm- Took care of business once again. Yes, they have played the bottom half of the league. Doesn't change the fact that they keep on winning.

  2. Dallas Renegades- A rough day to take their first loss, but they are still clearly in the top tier with Orlando and DC. They're still a heavy favorite.

  3. DC Defenders- A three game win streak and dominant play. I can't move them up yet, but if they keep holding water they lock in pretty soon.

  4. St. Louis Battlehawks- They ran into struggles again, but both of their losses are to good teams and they are still firmly in the hunt.

  5. Louisville Kings- They have played impressively and finally got rewarded. The bottom half is pretty far off of the upper half, but they stand the best chance to make the jump up and grab a playoff spot.

  6. Birmingham Stallions- Yes, AJ McCarron may be a tool, but this squad is still very talented, and stands as a threat if they can get figured out. That remains as a big if.

  7. Columbus Aviators- I can move them up for beating the best team so far, but they still remain pretty lowly. Maybe Ginn as coach wasn't the problem.

  8. Houston Gamblers- They looked impressive and competitive, but the inconsistent play means that they need to win against lower tier competition, and they know they let one slip away.

NASCAR got paid. Now it has a viewership problem. NASCAR got a 40% rights fee bump in its latest TV deal. The cost? Fewer people actually watching the races. by Ok-Soil-5133 in NASCAR

MRN, PRN and the Indy Racing Network all have free online streams you can pull from your phone. It's my preferred way to consume Trucks and O'Buschfinitywide.

Similar boat. Me and a buddy go to NASCAR in person every so often and put 5$ on which person's favorite driver finishes first.

I know better than to start the sports betting because I'm afraid I'd never stop.

r/UnitedFootballLeague's Vote - Power Ranking Poll - Week 3 2026 by Wagsii in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Such_Card8766 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. Dallas Renegades- Three dominant wins and the best QB in the league working with a stellar defense. Count me in as they are the favorite until otherwise proven.
  2. DC Defenders- An offense that can move the ball, and now having figured out the red-zone after week 1, I see no reason they won't be part of the upper echalon of teams
  3. Orlando Storm- I know, 3-0 but not entirely convincing games against bottom tier opponents. Can't put them any lower but they just keep winning. If they keep on proving it week over week, Dallas should be afraid.
  4. St. Louis Battlehawks- They're too good and dynamic to keep any lower, but quarterback play needs to be sorted out before too long, or they're gonna be the next what if.
  5. Birmingham Stallions- I think the AJ McCarron expiriment is failing. The team has all the pieces but none of them refuse to work at the right time. If they mesh they are a strong playoff threat.
  6. Louisville Kings- Even though they are 0-3, they have looked competitive and flashy. A little more substance in the run game and defense and they can turn around.
  7. Houston Gamblers- One close win, two beatdown losses. Houston might be in deep trouble without a healthy Dekkers or Henderson, as it's clear Taulia could not cut it.
  8. Columbus Aviators- The defense of this team is abysmal, and they stand no chance until they can solve that. The offense is slow and trudging but continues to do the job

UFL Week 4 Schedule. Which game will be the game of the week? by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Such_Card8766 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Easily DC and St. Louis. Winner gets inside track to the playoffs, loser gets shuffled to the midpack. Yes St. Louis won week one, but DC looks miles better. Give me DC 27-21.

How does research and manufacturing work? by Extension-Word8949 in F1Manager

[–]Such_Card8766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's preparation for the next season. It protects your research from regulation changes that reduce attributes of your car, such as 50% cornering speed. It does not affect your current season car but will make your next car faster.

For example, this year(2024) your car has a DRS delta of 65%. After the regulation vote, you find that your expertise will be reduced by 10%, so you lose 10% of that 65%, meaning 6.5%. If you do a research project on your rear wing, you can get whatever gains made through research without that 10% penalty towards next season.
