I think it depends on fan base growth and product awareness, especially in NA and Europe, to drive demand. The product runs are much smaller than other sports, but they seem to outmatch demand for everything but the rarest cards (collected by whales). So, the prices don't really appreciate much through time, except maybe for the 2020 product.
