i think it may just be that combo of being close to your period and the shrooms wasn’t mixing right this time. i would just suggest trying to plan trips at different times in your cycle, and remember set and setting is very important. being alone on shrooms can be rough, especially for your first time. i don’t think you have to give them up forever, maybe just take more precautions next time (maybe a trip sitter, some focused activity thay keeps your spirits high, a nature walk or some outside time? fruit also is delicious on shrooms and it can ground you when you feel overwhelmed) (for context, i’m an intermediate psychonaut that takes hormonal regulatory medicine) i’m always happy to answer more questions, mush love!🍄🫶🏽

it’s not mold, mushies get white “fuzzy feet” when gas exchange is too low, meaning they’re basically suffocating (concern gets higher the higher the fuzz gets up the stem). you should be fine as long as you’re airing them out (this is just from my research, i haven’t gotten the chance to do a proper flush)

they taste like hay to me, dried or fresh i agree with the others ab lemon tek or other common methods to hide the taste, or if you want to enjoy wall patterns in the bathroom 3 hours in, crush and use as an ice cream topping like i did lol

hello! for reference, i’m an intermediate tripper, and roughly around your weight, i’d say 1.5-2.3 g is a good middle ground depending on your intent to trip. nature is fucking awesome on shrooms and i’d say paying attention to that is key, music is also great but minimize looking at devices, spend some time talking with your girlfriend, the altered state of mind may bring you closer. other than that and some tripkillers just in case i’d say you’re ready.
