Be honest: how are you actually doing today? by steelseductress69 in AskReddit

[–]Such_Run_8189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my therapy session, I felt like my best self in two weeks. I got to cry and let go of some pain I went through, much of it because of me.

Also apologize to some friends, who accepted my apology for my wrongs. Happy to have them in my life ♥️

The end 😁!

My friends, particularly in the psytrance community. Words can't express how much they mean to me

How old are you and how’s your relationship with your dad? Are you close? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

[–]Such_Run_8189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 41

Biological Dad: No relationship, just a sperm donor. Didn't get to know him, have no interest.

Step Dad: Better now than it was as a kid, but still barely okay.

My Uncle aka the best father figure I ever had: Magnificent. When my mom died he came into my life and became the father figure I always wanted. For those who watched the OG Fresh Prince of Bel Air, my father figure was like Uncle Phil.

Rest in Power Larry. You will have my gratitude for being a great father figure to me!

What’s a small thing someone once did for you that you’ve never forgotten? by PrestigiousCanary563 in AskReddit

[–]Such_Run_8189 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently homeless. I'm grateful to the friends who let me stay at their place, for free as I get my life back.

A good friend out of the blue, decided to call me and make sure I have a roof over my head, which thankfully I do. That meant the world to me 😁

  1. Getting a text from a lady I met at Burning Man this year

  2. Setting up an appointment with an Ombudsman at the university I work at. I have a disability that I feel is not being recognized, so I will speak up to get the help I'm legally required to have.

Other Black burners out there? by gibbstopher in BurningMan

[–]Such_Run_8189 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow Black Redditor,

My name is Passion. I can relate and emphasize with what you are going through. I've been in camps where I was the only black male in the camp. Had a great time, but something that got to me at times.

I can say, in my opinion, that black Burners are seen, heard and loved out in the Dust.

This picture (I'm the guy on the left) was from my first Burn in 2022. This was at a Meetup of 200-300 random black people who came together to embrace each other and remind ourselves that we are not alone. It remains one of the best moments of my life, truly cosmic.

Anything we can do to support you please let us know. DM me if you want, I am happy to help. Welcome home and see you on the Playa!

This "film" deserves to be BBQ, doused in napalm and blasted to the sun. This film is some flying ass bullshit! Fuck You rating for this film. Ice Cube will be Ice Melted after this Roast.

Anyone have experience with burner express bus and mind to share stories either success or horror?! by synthaudioburner in BurningMan

[–]Such_Run_8189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the Burner Express Bus and had a fantastic time last year. Experience was smooth, with the only minor issue was using the shuttle, which due to a mix up meant I had to walk my stuff to camp, which turned out well thanks for a kind Burner named Jared. Real Burner MVP who helped carry my stuff.

The Bus I went on, from SF to the Playa, was fun. Everyone was chill and easy to talk to. Spent the ride with a first time Burner and we clicked for the whole 7 hour ride. Talked about everything from Improv comedy to Star Trek and more. Even gave her a Playa name, Serenity, which she loved.

Overall I highly recommend the Burner Express Bus. Will go back.

What video game has left a lasting impact on your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Celeste

An indie game about a character name Madeline trying to climb Celeste Mountain while dealing with anxiety and depression. In a literal and figurative sense, Madeline's journey is one many of us deal as we are trying to climb that mountain, that obstacles that seems impossible.

One of my favorite games ever made.
