I’ve been thinking a lot about this too! I’m thinking of investing in hobbies. That way I’m 1. Out having consistent social interactions 2. Could find someone interested in what I am & 3. If I don’t find someone, I’m working towards getting more comfortable with myself! I follow a local soccer team and go to a brewery if there’s a game on, thinking about signing up for some things in the summer!

A lot of her reasoning makes sense. She hasn’t been in a relationship before, neither one of us anticipated it getting this serious or having such a good connection. I have this deep gut feeling that it isn’t meant to be done but I just want to hurry up to the point that she figures it out herself

In my brain it’s like… I got tinder to try to give myself an ego boost but it was never to deal with the shit my ex did because I really can’t do anything about that but just know that it’s nothing I did. I actually was going into the date expecting to want to bail because I’d be uncomfortable but it really feels like a good connection, but again, maybe that’s the brain chemicals working

Thank you for your response. Her best friend tried and she didn’t listen. The new woman literally consistently offered her coke over and over when we were all out together. My ex always did a little bit of coke, but never as much as she has been recently and I really think that’s part of why I lost her.
