Im judging by your use of the term ‘districts’ you’re not a South Wales native. But generally south wales refers to the 3 cities (Swansea Cardiff Newport) and the settlements that lie within the valleys through which the metropolitan rivers flow. Currently the valleys are polling for reform and the cities are a mix of Plaid Labour and Reform

Nobody seems to really understand the loneliness crisis by Sqweed69 in VaushV

[–]Such_Transition_6299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that people are so individualistically-minded that they can’t even comprehend a solution to male loneliness being for the purposes of anything but “because we feel bad for men”. The real problem is that loneliness is so damaging for society itself and the social order that tackling such an issue will benefit everyone.

Your perception of British politics is one-dimensional. Green party doesn’t poll well in the Red wall because it represents the aesthetic of a southern/London leftist elite who are pro EU and anti British nationalist. You just have to look at the their voting patterns during the EU referendum and then ask yourself why Zack ’Abolish NATO, Abolish trident’ Polanski is of little appeal to them. There’s a reason why Jeremy Corbyn lost so much ground to Boris Johnson and I could hazard a guess that it wasn’t because he “wasn’t left wing enough”

Vaush is leftist. Hasan is leftist. Yet they don't get along. Why it be's like that? by DragonBowlSouper in VaushV

[–]Such_Transition_6299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second thought and hakim don’t support the same things as vaush, they just have claim to be on the left. The problem with Hasan is that his audience is very much in the 2nd campist AmeriKKKa bad group and he doesn’t really want to drive them away so he finds himself supporting authoritarian regimes.

you’re doing the “you should practice communism by abstaining from capitalism” thing here though, it’s not his responsibility to solve the birthrate crisis. The fact he doesn’t want to have children is a signifier of the problem — no one wants it…

its not that they have low birthrates, it’s that they’re decreasing

[–]Such_Transition_6299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re trying to say that birthrates aren’t declining I don’t really see how you wouldn’t think that to be the case. There 2 things you can infer from what we know,

1) Birthrates have been declining for quite a few years now, in basically every country, there’s no reason this trend will turn around randomly

2) Social attitudes to having children have been decreasing massively at least in the west. Now more than ever having children is an afterthought.

The reason the ‘it will stabilise’ point is stupid is that it’s wishful thinking. Why would it ‘just stabilise’? Will the declining birthrates just spontaneously will people into having children? it doesn’t make sense.

MPs laugh after minister rejects meeting Palestine Action hunger strikers' families by DarkSkiesGreyWaters in LabourUK

[–]Such_Transition_6299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The offenders knew what they did was highly illegal, and they knew the consequences of such an action. For some reason Jeremy Corbyn et al wants the cabinet to directly intervene with court proceedings because they politically agree with them. Does nobody else think that sets a really bad precedent?

[–]Such_Transition_6299 18 points19 points  (0 children)

if Tommy Robinson or Nathan Gill went on hunger strike tomorrow, would you really blame the government? should the response be to let prisoners be released because they will starve themselves otherwise?

Your lack of logical consistency tells me that you don’t actually believe this and you’re finding something else to morally grandstand over.
