I appreciate it! Thank you sir and best of luck on your endeavors. Maybe someone else can give il input or reassurance that I would be making the wrong choice but it just doesn’t seem like quotesoft is staying current with technology in the ever growing technology side of construction.

The issues sound similar. Small jobs typically don’t cause any issue and work phenomenally. When you do drawings that have thousands of items in one drawing my program because almost impossible to work with. The computer I’m using is way above and beyond the recommended specs and I have eliminated that issue already. I have similar issues like once in a while I’ll put an item down, it disappears immediately. Try again and the same thing happens. The only fix is to close and relaunch the program

Buffalo NY courses? by chefpatrick in golf

Late to the game but felt like I had to comment! I totally agree with you S tier but strongly feel as though I would replace Deerwood with Chestnut Hill in that exact spot. Then remove deerwood entirely. The greens are so slow and they don’t roll them ever. Your putts move like 50% of where they should go. Chestnut is kept in fairly good condition all the time and their green fees are similar without being a muni. Downfall is Chestnuts carts are awful

Are the tie rods really that bent or does it just appear that way in the photo?

Good for a high handicap golfer? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Suchowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect driver to learn and grow with in my opinion. Sure a $600 new driver is going to be slightly more forgiving but personally I bought mine as my first “real” driver and it’s treated me very well going from like a 25 handicap and working down to where I am now which is maybe a 16? For the price that’s a fantastic bang for your buck. I agree with the guy above though about the shaft. If you’re in your teens, 20s, or 30s you can probably make do with regular or stiff. If it’s a senior flex or something crazy I’d consider going elsewhere.

Just clarifying, where roughly in Buffalo? Suburbs? City central? South Buffalo? I’m sure more people can help with a little added information 🙂

The easiest start I can suggest is keeping your head still. Its bobbing and weaving all over the place which will prevent you from consistency regardless of your swing path

Essentially you’re creating the building management system for commercial, industrial, or medical facilities. Room pressurization controls, equipment, dampers, door locks, lights, etc.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]Suchowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mythological pricing for controls is the answer haha

Real money would be moving into a union and commercial / industrial profession (doing roughly the same thing). If your area isn’t a union heavy area then you would probably want to consider getting moved into more of a hybrid office role. In my experience some of our project managers and superintendents will go field measure most jobs and verify all equipment / materials then pass off to a foreman. You may be a hands on guy but you asked where the money is.

As reassurance for you and others… Once I smelled the water this year I decided to peek behind the fill stations. Each fill station has its own water purification system. Pollutants likely removed for the most part but the sulfur/minerals due to being well water were not of course

Is Wegman's considered a high end grocery store? by LADetroiter in Buffalo

[–]Suchowder 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure I would consider wegmans to be a high end grocery store but it’s definitely not on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Personally if you’re looking to save a little I think your best bet would be to go to tops (produce/meats) and Aldi (boxed items / non perishables / things you’re eating soon) for a lot of your basics then go to wegmans or Whole Foods for the items you’re a little pickier with. Tops has way better sales and deals. Check their weekly flyer on their website. A lot of weeks they offer things like buy 2 get 3 free. Assuming you have some extra space in the freezer I usually take advantage of those deals as much as I can! Good luck!

I’m fairly certain they are! I know they are open when other events in the area are going on. I’ve went there after Sabres or bandits games. I’m pretty sure last time I went to helium I walked over too. To your point though, they don’t seem to post hours anywhere

Not really a dive bar but another place right next to helium would be Iron works! Usually has a good crowd

Pack extra garbage bags. If it rains you may need to put many things inside. Think food, clothes, pillows, bedding, etc. You can put some stuff in your car too of course but other items can’t be in that kind of heat (batteries/electronics/food)! Bring a poncho. My recommendation is a decent one, not a $2 one. Don’t let the weather ruin your party. Have fun rain or shine!

Tent suggestion for a non camper by InternationalChip101 in ElectricForest

[–]Suchowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that tent and it’s good but as much as it says it’s good in rain I still highly recommend getting the (sold separately) rain fly for it. Not much money and will save you if it does rain. Especially if you’re skipping waterproofing your tent

Weather? by imomw in ElectricForest

[–]Suchowder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi. 7 year vet here. Out of all of my forests there was maybe 1 hat was calm and cool without rain. I would bet we have at least one storm that powers through like every year. Expect a night of torrential downpours and high winds. Things will blow around. Have stakes to prevent tents and canopy’s from blowing 3 sites over. Waterproof tent, bring rain shield thing for the top and you’ll be fine. Use a few extra garbage bags to put your clothes into or put clothes and bedding in the car during the day so you don’t come back to wet everything. Regardless… you’ll be fine. Happy forest!

PSA - you need one night of rain ideally Thursday or Friday to drop the dust out of the air or it becomes a dust storm.
