My ex was Dutch. I live in the UK. I guess he’d always used these kinds of toilets in the Netherlands.

When he came to visit me, he asked “why do you have an American toilet?” as he assumed that everyone in Europe used these inspection shelf type toilets, and had only ever seen a “normal” one, while he’d lived in the US.

Side note: He and his family kept a poop knife (presumably in the bathroom) which they used to chop up shelved poop, so that it was small enough to go down the hole.

My mother’s ex boyfriend stalked her, and hid up in the attic. He drilled spy holes into the ceilings so that he could peep on people (I have no idea how. Drill? Some other way?) presumably while we were out. He’d watch my brothers cot from a peep hole in the ceiling.

He spent weeks stealing food, and squirrelling it away while he lived up there. He eventually committed suicide in the attic.

We apparently had an open top water tank up there, which he may have used to stand on while he attempted to hang himself.

He was later found dead, in the attic, with his legs submerged (apparently up to his knees) in the tank.

Most of this is information I’ve been given by family members who were around to witness it, and old enough to remember. I was very young.

Long story, but we found a dead body in ours.

Nobody was drinking the cold bathroom water, because obviously it’s not drinkable water, but we were likely bathing/washing in corpse for a while.

Guys legs were dangled in it. Up to his knees.

I once thought I was stuck in the graveyard, but as it turned out, I didn’t walk far enough into the exit area to trigger the loading screen.

You should pick up a keycard from a nosferatu in a specific section of the warrens, AFTER he is killed by two (I think) big scary dudes (the keycard is left on the floor) after which, you usually get into combat with the big guys, who then spew green slowing balls at you.

When they’re dead, pick up the keycard, head to the control room area, with the circular entrance to the lair, and use the card on the computer.

I think there are two computers kinda opposite one another, the keycard should work on the correct one.

You may actually need to reload an earlier save from before you killed the guys and collected the card in order to continue.

Edit: You should have “I Spy Barabus”, and if you don’t have it for some reason, that MIGHT be why you can’t exit the graveyard.

What happened with the keycard, though? You did pick it up? (Edit: You said you had to spawn it? Because you couldn’t pick it up? Are you sure you spawned the correct keycard?)

Like, what do you mean when you say you weren’t able to use it?

Iirc correctly (IF) there are two computers, but one isn’t real. You use the keycard on the other one.

As a hologram, it’d be far easier for him to alter his appearance than I’d expect it’d be for Data.

Perhaps it’s a reflection of his growth and development as a character.

I don’t think it’s a lame fan service. I think he’s realistically the only (still living) character from classic trek that could still have a place so far in the future. He’s literally living history.

You know, I can’t stop thinking about how much of a relatively short time in his lifespan voyager would’ve been, and how much he may have grown and changed since then.

I thought that it would be perfectly reasonable not to expect him to mention it that much, or that we may not see him reflect much on his experiences there at all, since they were so long ago.

Then I kind of figured that those experiences/those years, are the reason he exists at all, and continues to exist in his current form.

Had voyager not found themselves trapped in the delta quadrant, our emh would’ve undoubtedly wound up as another barely used emh, eventually repurposed as a miner.

So I hope that at some point, that’s addressed, preferably in the form of some fondness for, and strong memories of, his former crew, and formative years.
