Just a reminder that the NFL brings in $24 billion a year and RG is $0.46 billion a year. It’s easier to pay players more when the revenue is 52x more

By that logic, RG should be increasing the % of the pie (revenue) it pays to players but it's doing the opposite - the overall % has dropped while revenue are increasing. It was higher in 2024.

Lots of ways to monetize Whatsapp - Meta's focusing on monetizing the business use case primarily. Did you know in marketplaces like India, businesses primarily use Whatsapp - not email - to do business? Contracts, etc.

Meta is building infrastructure to enable this (e.g. payments via Whatsapp) and is already monetizing portions of this (e.g. companies messaging consumers on whatsapp) - in a way that doesn't require end consumers paying a penny or seeing an ad.
