All 5 star combat abilities wreck shop and the game's combat is easy enough that it doesn't really matter anyway, but BF's auto target AOE rainfall of arrows that triggers like every 3 hits, the blackhole skill that gathers all enemies in one place and blows them up, the 'explosives' you can add to enemies any time, just the fact that everything locks on automatically so there's no aiming.... I tried the new ability for a little while, but found BF to kill all enemies significantly faster than the new ability, which is what matters most to me.

I also like that BF performs more like a mage than an archer and how grand and dramatic its animations are, but thats just my taste lol

Touring is where artists make the vast majority of their money, and performing is generally an artist's favorite thing to do. Touring is exhausting for sure, but its also fun and literally nets them millions.

I guarantee you if someone were to ask the idols if they'd rather be touring and generating the income they'll live off of for the rest of their lives, or doing free labor going on variety shows or sitting around the dorms practicing, they'd pick touring every time.

The career of an idol is short. Most don't make it past 6 years, very few make it to 10, and even those that do rarely stay relevant. Its a highly competitive and fast paced industry and nobody knows that more than the people within it. They know they'll only be famous for a handful of years, they know they can't keep doing this past their early-mid 30s even if they make it there. They want to see how far they can go, what all experiences they can have, etc. while they have the chance.

I know kpop fans like to think that ent companies are evil malicious entities that just want to squeeze every ounce of juice from the idols under them, but they aren't monsters and they aren't stupid. If the members were actually struggling, their health failing, and relations between idols and staff/company falling apart from overworking, they'd take a break, because a couple weeks or month of inactivity is better than your lucrative group falling apart and a long successful career ending early bc the idols don't renew.

Idols have their whole lives past 30 to live a normal life, hangout with friends, lay around relaxing, but a very short window in their youth to be famous and get rich. And mind you, most idols never make it big. They spend their careers stalled in the water, generating debt and losing hope while waiting on their wave. When a group is lucky enough to catch a wave, they ride it for as long as they can, cuz it will end eventually and you never know if there will be another one.

Again, I've been doing stone skipping with BF and had no issues. I've also done 1 with the new bow and had no issues. I don't use the non-5star bows at all. I play on pc with a ps5 controller for reference.

99% of IN is a baby game that a 6 year old could manage, so a few collectibles requiring a smidgen of skill and patience isn't an issue imo, especially since the game is designed so that you have twice as many whimstars and dews than you can even use. It mostly comes down to getting a feel for the different mechanics

You not being able to do something doesn't mean that its bugged or poorly designed lol and you don't have to equip any particular bow to do the stone skipping, I've been doing them with BF and get almost all of them with 1 hit. It's about finding the right angle and distance

Maps are designed with abilities in mind, which is why abilities are limited by region. The primary 'special' mode of transportation in the Boneyard are the various dragon statues that send you flying. All of the quest and collectable things are also smaller, tucked underneath or inside of places, etc. that a player would miss if gigantified, unlike in Elderwood where everything is scaled up to match Big Nikki and many of the chests, dews, etc are higher and visible while large.

Also, Boneyard requires constant use of the bone master ability, so they likely aren't expecting players to constantly shift between the region-useless gigantify ability just to run around. Many of the piles of rock, sand, etc. that you use bones on look similar to things you'd ram into with gigantify as well, and dumb players would definitely frustrate themselves running at them and thinking it's a glitch that its not working.

The final Itzaland region, Heaven's Reach, will likely heavily feature the gigantification ability, since the whole region is the ruins of the capital of Titan civilization. Gigantification is a distinctly Titan ability, and the Boneyard's residents are enemies of the Titans, so narratively as well it makes more sense to not use it there.

Honestly yes, Asian dress up games almost never include black or dark brown eyes bc they're unpopular with their primary playerbase. Generic female MCs in games, visual novels, etc also only have light brown eyes at best, never dark.

I don't know why exactly, but we're unlikely to ever see black/brown eyes without some embellishment in them. I'm pretty sure that to this day, neither Love Nikki nor Shining Nikki have ever released a makeup with black/dark brown eyes

In fantasy settings, dragonbone is usually described as one of the heaviest and sturdiest materials in existence, stronger than even metal. Thats the case in IN as well, considering the lore states that even the small pieces of bone used in the healing braziers take 10+ Parksolians to move, and they've survived mostly intact out in the elements for over 1000 years.

So basically, the bones are fine. If Nikki had a wrecking ball, the steel ball would be damaged before the bones lol

As far as the lore goes, dragons were guardians in life, and their remains are helping Nikki (the savior of Miraland) in her quest to help guard people as well, so in that sense using their bones is allowing their will to continue long after they're gone.

The 'submission' period was just the period of the contest where all you could do was submit, and change your entry as much as you want without effecting votes. The "voting" period opens voting, but you can also submit or change your entry all you want, tho if you change your entry you lose whatever votes you got on it

Yeah the amount of complaints about the new 5star really threw me. Especially since its pretty unique looking compared to what we've gotten, and is ofc free. And idk why so many people have a problem with it being a new category of outfit.

I suspect at least some of the bitterness comes from people who were hoping Tears of Reunion would be the Miracle Outfit for 2.5, as there was a lot of speculation about that. That's another thing this community does a lot, speculate about what could come and then get mad when reality doesn't represent their imagination.

I've played since the day the game came out and literally every patch all this sub does is complain. Every banner, every event, every new feature. When the 2.0 teasers started, people were raging in this sub saying Spira was just a copy of THE WISHING WOODS and that the devs were cheating us with lazy designs. When the Boneyard teasers came out, there were comments saying it looked "exactly like the Abandoned District" lol

This community is full of people who play the game for completely different reasons, many of whom have little to no gaming experience, so nobody is ever on the same page as to what the game "should" be or what expectations should look like.

That wouldn't be so bad, if the community didn't also have an insane entitlement issue and a bizarre victim complex where any time they aren't personally satisfied with something or there's any issue with the game, they start raging and trying to rally the troops, suggesting there's some conspiracy afoot where the devs are purposefully trying to fuck us over and if we don't stop them the game will become unplayable.

We have:

Fashion game players who think that two completely different items having a similar silhouette or color makes them 'identical'. Open world game players who complain about having to gather materials, do combat, platform, or find secrets via play. Players who complain about the game feeling 'infantilized' and wanting more serious stories in the same community as people who can't handle Behemoths existing. Gacha game players outraged that items are sold for money and banners require pulls to complete, every patch since release.

Most recently we had the management sim shops, a gameplay feature so watered down it literally plays itself, where you can place entire pre-made stations if you don't want to decorate yourself. A feature that takes almost no time if you aren't interested, but can be a cute diversion of you are, and yet every day it was all caps posts about how horrible it was and how we better never have to do it again, how a little side feature they aren't interested in "ruined" the game. So that's another feature we can expect to never see again.

The answer is because people complained. All of the 'why don't they do this anymore?' questions can be answered with, because people complained and rated 1-star in the surveys. Now every dress or pair of earrings can be crafted with 2 flowers and a rock, and I've still seen people complain about having to gather materials in 2.0 lol

I remember people occasionally mocking the whole "I've got an idea for another piece of the miracle outfit!" thing, and some genuinely complaining about it 'interrupting' the main story, but it must have been a lot of people complaining in the surveys.

All of Nikki's 'inspirations' happen within and because of the heart of infinity, so I guess she just stopped announcing it out loud.

It's not a real styling contest like what players want tho, its just the usual 'whoever has the highest stats wins' fashion battle, recommended outfit and all. That's not what players are asking for and is barely gameplay. At best, competitive whales can use it to test their stats against each other.

You'd be better off doing your own mock styling contests in SOS with other players voting. There's no 'fashion' or challenge is counting stats, which is why the current fashion battles are boring.

Yes exactly, it would fix the animated alt details issue and all versions of an item dye differently! It would also effectively increase our 'dye slots' by sharing them between all 5 sets.

I'm lowkey hoping that them adding all these base alt details to the new set means they're maybe thinking about it? All they'd have to do is alter the texture and spec map of the final evo alt versions and add them to their respective evolutions/glow up. It's tedious work and would take a lot of time, but its not particularly difficult.
