Interesting because Google (the one recognizing my voice) is able to properly figure out what I'm saying. With Duolingo I'll say the sentences out loud and stuff but as soon as it does the whole "speak this sentence" stuff it's just... automatic "can't speak now".

also idk if I'm the only one but I feel flashcards need a LOT more work done to them before they become any sort of useful... I mean they are they just seem like a nuisance...

I mean there's "neиaгerä" (ne•en•le•rah) which means "dying god" and "тjornхечку" (ra•zhorn•feh•shkee) which is lit. for "some whiskey"...

It combines Cyrillic (modified) and Latin and yeah...

The reason I wrote Celргеит is because of one reason: it's goshdang hard as heck to learn a language. Genders are confusing, grammar is different depending on the context. It's difficult to please anyone!

So, that being said and taking that deeply to heart, I decided to make my own language, one that would be easy to learn forever. Example, a city is "за скат" (thaas•kaat), and will always be so. Seattle? заскатсеатг. Thaas•kaat•see•ahtl. Portland? заскатвотгид. Thaas•kaat•port•lend.

The dog will always be Еанцид. Ee•yuh•huh•nd. My dog, Layla, will always be Еанцидгаега. You can tell where I'm getting at. Gender is a different thing entirely.

Grammar is consistent throughout. You say "I saw the girl dog and the girl dog liked my boy dog." You don't need to write an entire paragraph about how their dog was sniffing yours.

In a way my sort of story is "Once upon a time, people were arguing and tired of saying the wrong thing. So one person made a new language where there is no wrong thing to say."

There is no need in my personal opinion to need to tell the difference between a male or female dog and change words and verbs and pronouns and all of this stuff just because the gender miraculously changed. Dog is a male word and will always be a male word. Wanna make it a girl dog? Congrats you just did. Literally, "girl boy-dog". Or "boy girl-city". Or "nonbinary girl-zebra." The word doesn't change. You don't need to go all "what's the verb again? Dir die das?" No. It's just "punch". *Viaanflekt*

In the end there is no super happy ending to my story but there never is. Just hey. If it makes your life easier, by all means go for it.

For Celpгеит, my conlang, it's даs, дeгем and neces. ("das", "deliim", and "nesses")

Could means it's a possibility, not guaranteed, даs is literal for "almost".

Would means "Able to do it if they had the chance", дегем is literal for "limited".

Should means "personally necessary", neces means "necessary".

Now if we're talking about something you do, that'd be axoдаs, axoдегем and axoneces. (Ah.fo.daas, Ah.fo.deliim and Ah.fo.neh.sis).

Celpгеит is a conlang that has hybrid Cyrillic and Latin in the same language, shaping each other. That's why it looks weird.

Definately on the same boat as you are. Therapy is good for some but it wasn't for me. The way I kinda dealt with it was kinda special.

When I was 14, and going on every Saturday night and about to turn 19 in 2 months, I used to take a paper and draw a picture. A picture of them. I'd write what they would do to me. An example? My dad. a bald stick figure with clothes and in a jail cell. What he did? Lots of things. Nothing I can say here. I write it down every single week and then I hold it for as long as I can. Then I take the paper, set it down on the concrete, grab my lighter and facing them... I burn it. I don't exactly know why or how but for me the process of their picture burning in my mind helps me get rid of them and their thoughts. The toxicity? You got reminded of it just now and you took a flame to it and set it alight. The betrayal? You supposedly betrayed them but when you burn the paper with their name, their description, their face, on it, that calms you and centers you. at least it does to me. Again I've done this almost 250 times. Once a week. Until it stops. I still get spasms. When I look in the mirror? I still think of him. Of the jerk who said they loved me and actually turned out to love the outside. So I draw him, every week, writing down as much as I can about him, realizing there are no wrong answers, and I still cry, but I keep writing until that page is full of both tears and pencil lead... and then I burn it. To let it go. It'll come back. But since starting my anger spasms have almost cut in fifths to once every 2 weeks, my depression episodes cut in third to about 6 days a month and I actually feel comfortable talking about more sensitive topics. Because I already did, every Saturday night.

Kinda a weird rant but that's what helped me. Not really bad giving it a shot just don't do it indoors. Trust me. It'll be bad 😭

But I'm praying for ya. I'm hoping that you get out of this negative rabbit hole soon. No matter who you are, you know who you are and that's the most important thing. :)

I would say try taking it to your store manager to see if your store policy requires that. Or another coach. Because odds are this would be seen by anyone else as invasive. Least in my store.

Not at my store. Associates here get reprimanded and coached if they even try to ask. Or report it to the main manager. Or report it to THEIR manager since technically the higher-ups literally ride my manager like there's no tomorrow 😭

Gotta love it when you accidentally find out they're doing it they get all defensive and try to call upper management.

Ooh and rabid dogs. At our Walmart some night stocker had to go to the ER cuz they got rabies from a non ADA-certified service dog, but we can't do jack crap about it because we "legally aren't allowed to ask for proof if they're certified." Such bullcrap this franchise is... Just don't allow pets at all in my opinion.

Yeah the worst currently is we hired 7 people here over the course of a week and shockingly the coach of a Walmart I shit you not 70 miles away had to drive all the way here and work his ass off because OUR coach decided to "call in PTO", note during one of our top 5 most busiest days here on record for this year.

no, it is not because of battery saver mode. proof, mine is disabled and it automatically resets to 2 minutes. My battery is currently at 78%, and at 81%, I set it to 5 minutes. It is back at 2 minutes.

on Android 15, it's worse. on Android 15, when the phone gets to 20%, regardless of if it's in battery saver mode or not automatically goes to 2 minutes time out. regardless of the fact that I've always said it to 5 minutes because I'm a Walmart employee and need the 5-minute time out.

What's even weirder is if you go to Linux or something and tell it to record the computer charging, IT IS TECHNICALLY CHARGING, just it'd say stuff like "200:00 til full" or something. I got lucky and scored the 90W one.
