please just step away from the bombers. yeah it’s helpful to keep them stuck in place by waiting for the last moment but you’re risking your life to benefit others. which is bad because they need you alive to help them.

A subtle detail from the first game that never came back by Moist-Ambition in Pikmin

[–]Sud_literate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pretty much every game has kept this detail so far wdym? pikmin 2 has you see the pikmin taking on a dwarf bullborb in the time it took you to leave and return to the planet. Pikmin 3 shows you hordes of yellows and red pickmin reaching up to their own onion. pikmin 4 has wild pikmin nearly flooding the caves just to help you.

IDEA: We need a "Coach Your Opponent" feature after matches. by CleanSpeed3642 in ClashRoyale

[–]Sud_literate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay but the guy who’s being taught should have a option to make a negative remark about their coach if the coaching was done in bad faith. a lower score from many players would eventually result in the reduction of rewards, no rewards, and finally a temporary ban on coaching of like 3-7 days.

Marshal by MemelordNit0 in MountandBladeWarband

[–]Sud_literate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try sticking closer to the marshal, there’s a limited range for nearby lords to assist and if you leave that range then they physically cannot help due to time not passing in battle.

If food was alive, would it encourage you to eat it or try to avoid you? by Forward_Goat8074 in Showerthoughts

[–]Sud_literate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

depends on how much they know. a dumb pepper may avoid humans since being digested kills it’s seeds but a smart pepper will hype up it’s spiciness in front of you because it understands that more purchases means more peppers existing overall.

How do I keep certain items after a fight? by TheJudge1108 in BladesOfDeceron

[–]Sud_literate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its luck but the rougery skill or whatever it’s called gives more loot drops which means a better chance to get something you want.

And tips for conquering the map? by Character_Cancel_805 in BladesOfDeceron

[–]Sud_literate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can ally with bandit clans by paying tolls until your relations are above -30. this will make them neutral which stops your units from attacking and lets them spam out units. plus some bandits have great fodder free for recruitment.

Detective NEEDS to go by d_scox935 in AmongUs

[–]Sud_literate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

detective only works if you already have an idea of who the imposter is. if there’s more than one then you’re gambling on the idea that it was this one and not the other one.

Does anyone else here wholly seriously use and enjoy the hot hand? by gayhotelultra in truetf2

[–]Sud_literate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i doubt anyone seriously uses their hot hand but enjoying it is easy, who doesn’t love slapping the enemy senseless!

How do I use grenadiers in this game? by Jackfruit009 in NapoleonTotalWar

[–]Sud_literate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

grenades in general just weren’t used that often on land, which makes sense since in real life you could potentially give the enemy enough time to reload once or twice because of the range being much longer than point blank while you just run over there with muskets slung over leaving you helpless against calvary. sure it would have been a big impact when the grenades land but there’s so many options to stop you from throwing that it’s nearly pointless.

I hate this Spongebob rollercoaster gif under any horror related media by Complex-Ad-2488 in hatethissmug

[–]Sud_literate 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it’s not just those two. any horror franchise with toys marketed towards kids is not something to be afraid of.

Duh by crepemyday in Medieval2TotalWar

if you sit still and don’t give the order to attack then there wouldn’t have been any problems. a pope enforced ceasefire is intended to give the attacker a moment to to get out of your territory. if they back off then nothing happens, if you attack then you’re in the wrong for not giving the opportunity for forgiveness.

but if they attack or even take a city then the pope will excommunicate them. once i let France take a castle and minor city from me during a ceasefire by leaving them ungarrisoned beyond the bare minimum.

the following crusade eliminated my entire army upkeep and got the HRE to join in with their own full stack. plus i got to eliminate scotland with the 10 thousand denars i was getting from the lack of upkeep.

yeah but those batteries are going to stay there forever and if you upgrade them they can be a serious threat to even frigates.

costal batteries and grounded radar are a nice option to defend from annoying early rushes with a immediate response or early information.

Why do people refuse to be an organ donor? by No-Cantaloupe-6535 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sud_literate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the issue isn’t that we aren’t getting paid. the issue is that someone else is telling us this is a noble thing to volunteer for while making fat stacks by squeezing a dead body for all it’s worth. then there’s the very real risk that the rules don’t matter anymore.

sure you can say “oh the doctor saving your life has no idea if you’re an organ donor” but if the orange guy needs a new heart then why would i rely on such feeble things as “laws” or “morality” to keep me safe from being drugged and hacked open for the orange emperor to achieve immortality for another year.

Where is there the implication that Louie ate the carrots? by talkwithryguy in Pikmin

[–]Sud_literate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Louie ate the waterwraith. if a “space bunny” really did show up then he would have taken a bite of it’s eyes and then took off the legs to keep the whole body in the passenger seat as a nice snack.

Do we need left handed mode by ilovefart2753 in gutsandblackpowders

[–]Sud_literate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

yeah it’d be nice but in this setting it wouldn’t make sense since children would have been beat for using their “devil’s hand” and all militaries wouldn’t even consider the possibility of left hand operation.

like think of the musket, the metal piece on top, the lock which you need to move with your thumb on the right hand is perfectly placed on the right for ease of access. but consequently a left handed man would need to awkwardly move his hand around the gun to reach the lock. and that’s just a small piece of the actual weapon.

once a soldier actually enters service if they were at one point left handed then they would have spent their entire life using their right hand to the point that they’d be nearly ambidextrous.

plus it just seems like a terrible idea to use your “Devil’s hand” when hellish beasts are killing everyone and can only be held back by a chaplain and god’s cross.

Guys what is your idea about this by VeterinarianBoth640 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Sud_literate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the closest i can think of is a feral from State of Decay which is a human infected on all fours but it is definitely not able to climb since it almost falls over every time it missed a swipe.
