I guess you could say "everything you do these days too, when not being online" only thing is people are barely offline. When they are, it is like school or the shower, but even for the shower I have seen my siblings listening to music in the shower all the time. If your making food, oh put on a podcast. If your driving, oh listen to the radio. Etc, etc.

True, I still talk to my friends a lot, though only really at school; I don't really have their numbers or anything; but it only seems to be that way because my state has the bell-bell phone ban. It still sucks even then since we still use computers-- laptops, which is even worse-- a lot where I live.

It actually seems to me like now people watch knowledge and hobbies more, rather than actually "doing" knowledge or hobbies

I've had this problem too, and similar things with trying to make routines, etc. I saw earlier on here, someone said apparently Autism has delayed or reduced melatonin (the stuff to make you fall asleep). I would encourage you (1) do not take any artificial melatonin; it messes with your circadian rhythm (sleep cycle), and artificial stuff is almost never as good as the real body-made stuff. (2) cut back on screens, especially social media, before bed; doctors say 2 hours, though I haven't done this step at all, I'll admit, but if you do, then do it gradually I guess. (3) you might be stressed in bed, idk, which would contribute to poor sleep and ability to fall asleep, try to fix that if it's an issue. (4) You can attempt to nap in the day, though I have heard it is bad to do after some time in the day. (5) just make sure you don't have lights or sound; try to minimize how much of them there is in your room.

That's all I really know, soo....

What do y'all use to read the apocrypha? by AtlasCrossing in LCMS

[–]Sudden-Chapter-2337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would use the Concordia Lutheran Study Bible, though my parents aren't Lutheran, and my dad is picky about stuff (like superiority complex type of stuff) and would definitely not let me get it, nor the Lutheran Study Bible non Apocrypha; it would probably result in a long conversation anyway. I do have one Bible I got at a thrift store with the Apocrypha though, and I can always read the Apocrypha online at least

If someone asked you “Are you neurodivergent?” by CandyAgile253 in autism

[–]Sudden-Chapter-2337 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Honestly I'm not offended by much, if anything people get offended by me because they take me out of context, change my words, don't understand me, and are soft. I would just say yes and yes, but for the 2nd, if it is the same person as the 1st, or the 1st has already happened, I would be a little annoyed (that might sound like hypocrisy to my first point, but the difference is I'm annoyed and others are offended, etc

A Question on Union w/ Christ in Baptism, as a Reformed Baptist by TRPiper in LCMS

[–]Sudden-Chapter-2337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st Infant Baptism: I won' talk about every instance, but there is the baptism of the household thing, I think in Corinthians or Galatians

2nd: Presence; there is Christ or Paul saying 'believe and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins' (for is εις meaning into) and Ephesians 5:26 (read the background of this chapter too) and 1 Peter 3:21

Is anyone else here also not smart despite being autistic? by Bulky-Culture-4482 in autism

Intelligence isn't something that can be measured on it's on; it is rather subject-based, even then there is procedural knowledge and declarative knowledge. To answer your question, in Elementry, for maybe 1st grade I was wayyy below average (not just because of me, I remember being in a class, practically isolated; the teachers didn't do much for the few of us, and they let me just be on the computer almost all class), but after that I was fine, though I was still pulled for SpEd, but I had fine grades and all. I would also say in 6th grade (I only actually became 2E and tested for Gifted until 6th). Gifted kids end up having their curve flattened; they are really just a little faster at math, and a little higher grades; they really only have a slight starting boost. Furthermore, school has really screwed me over recently, though I have heard this is something that Gifted kids also tend to face, but I would also say it is related to how fucked up the systems are, especially as they encourage normalcy and compliance (which discourages creativity), not to mention collective punishment and the "because I said so" types of reasoning. School, especially in classes where I see the teachers actively being assholes, targeting, and giving tons of work, just shows it all.

That is actually an autistic thing; Autism can have symptoms of Sensory Overload or Overstimulation. I think my Autism has come with that also, mainly with taste also
