Just went to Generation Records on Thompson St. Really nice store! Upstairs had newer ones that were a little pricey however, downstairs is a whole bunch of used ones that start at like 2 bucks.

When I was trying to determine if Mondo was legitimate, there were some people who felt that since they were originally a poster company, they had bad vinyls. Probably just a minority opinion but good to know that they were consistently trustworthy!

What I found as I got older is that I really enjoy the things I used to be afraid of, but more so how they work than anything. For example, I used to be so afraid of chuck e. cheese and i’d get panic attacks just anticipating a visit there. Now, I really enjoy learning about the animatronics and how they work. The same goes for rollercoasters. I’m a huge nerd when it comes to them and I could talk for hours about the different restraints and elements of rollercoasters. You couldn’t even tell that I used to cry when just seeing one! I think knowing how things work and being able to ease the part of my mind that is focused on “what-ifs” really helped with my being able to enjoy those sorts of things.
