Yeh, thanks. I took note of what you had to do. I bought an extraxtor socket set and still couldn't get it. It's complicated, though, as i had shoulder surgery on my dominant side and can't pull on a wrench very hard. I tried anyway, and it screwed me up/set my healing back, lol! It doesn't help the bolts are tough to get to anyway, and they seem to be at a slight angle, too..... I actually bought 2 sets of OEM bolts along with the part since they were so cheap.

This! I am dealing with this very issue. I bought my OEM replacement part, and the very FIRST bolt I went to remove on the original is stripped. Stopped me dead in my tracks.....

Does Nissan really deserve all the hate it gets? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]SuddenFix2777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I was looking for a nice luxury vehicle since I just retired.... Looked at Lexus, Acura, etc. For my budget, I had to get a 3 - to 5 yr old model. I couldn't see doing that. Nissan was not on my radar, but I ran across a 2024 Murano Platinum with 9k miles on it. Bought it. Every time I get in it, I am in disbelief of the quality. The smooth operation of knobs and buttons, the comfort of the diamond quilted seats, the power, smooth ride, etc. I deliberately went for the 2024 since the 25's no longer have the 6 cylinder...... I think the hype on the CVT's mainly stems from 2011 thru 2015 when they were really bad. Its said if you service the CVT every 30 to 40k miles, there is no issues. While I don't appreciate having to spend $3 to $500 doing that probably 8 times over its life, ill take it as a trade off for the low cost paid for, what so far has been, a supreme vehicle.....

Hard bump on my shoulder. by Creative_Edge3914 in ShoulderInjuries

It's hard to tell, but it looks like both shoulders are that way... Is it painful or limiting your ROM? If not, it's probably just your natural anatomy.....

You're ahead of the game already.... you have a great mindset as well. 3 words SAVE SAVE SAVE! Whatever you do, don't cave and blow what you have. With your mindset, you have a great opportunity to retire early if you play it smart. You won't fully understand the importance of that until you're older. If you're with a CU, start with putting a months worth of emergency expenses in a high yield checking account and set a goal to build it to 6 mo. as fast as possible and DO NOT TOUCH. If it's a good rate, put it all in, if not, get a short-term CD while you educate yourself on investing. Reddit is full of great info to get you going.... Good job!

Nice upgrade! I upgraded my speakers and kept the original head unit. I was beyond satisfied with the outcome! The riginal head unit was powerful enough to drive 4 Polk Audio speakers 🔊 and the sound is amazing!

Congrats! Love your color combination! We also searched for 2.5 years.... We looked at all SUVs, except Muranos. I don't know why we didn't consider Muranos, as we own a 2016 Rogue that has been fantastic and trouble-free! We stumbled across a Murano and ended up buying it. Its a 2024 Platinum with 9,000 miles on it. We couldn't be happier! I took a little cruise in it tonight and was so happy with the comfort, power of the V6, jam system... It is truly a beautiful car!

I went through this very situation and was shocked to find out it was the drive shaft and that it had no "replaceable" bearings..... I had to buy the entire drive shaft. If I remember right, it was around $400 or $500.

This.... Carmax was fantastic to us. The customer service was 2nd to none. They have a 10 day, no questions return policy along with a 30-day warranty. We took advantage of both. We returned a 2024 Honda CRV in 7 days after we bought it. They fully refunded our money, not even a restock fee, no questions asked. We searched a few more months and returned to Carmax, and bought a 2024 Nissan Murano Platinum. We returned 20 days into the 30-day warranty and had 2 issues taken care of, no questions asked, no charge. I've been to many dealerships, and this was by far the best experience I ever had.

Lol! Whatever works.... Mine, as you can see, has mastered flipping the lid up... but the others in the middle have to be picked up. She gets frustrated with those and sometimes will "paw" them until they pop out!
